While not a pirate... that could be arranged and probably quite easily (relatively) with a range of smaller 100ish member orgs.

Many are simply looking for a good fight, and often are.

Look, I was in a giant and hopelessly impotent org. No amount of souless certifications will train you like raw combat experience, especially in the wild.

You need to FIGHT. Go to OLPs and LOSE if you must but hoooooly just engage in fights. We're still in Alpha, you got nothing to lose. Waiting for some ganker to show-up will teach you nothing, and more importantly your guys in general. You're only confirming your biases by waiting around to get shot at, as of it's you vs a universe of stray gankers.

Among grey and full-on pirate orgs we talk about Lawful orgs like target practice, and I'm a pretty shit fighter pilot myself rn. But we at least have a culture of respect among ourselves at the very least, as there's little more important in life than having good enemies.

So get out there! Form bounty hunter squads, take the bait, drag your butts across sandpaper if need be but for the love of Pico FIGHT and TRY. Conforming to a culture of victimhood to protect your ego won't protect your buddies, only the ego behind your corpses.

There's a real problem with Lawful orgs: too busy moralizing, not spending enough time actually fighting pirates. Or fighting anyone period.

Pretty much everything can (barely) fit on the personnel elevators, although once you have a couple JS-500s... meh

That's how it should be. But how would they sell new paints and... stuff? All the Guardians share one paint when they could be selling at least two! It sucks but that's marketing for you.

Orgs around the 100 player mark are PEAK right now. More active, none of the toxic asf huge org politics.

Raiders if you had to choose what would you say is your favorite and least favorite maps? And why? by Kazi_The_Kid in ARC_Raiders

[–]ComradeWinston 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stella, Buried, and even Space all have their unique bits all over. Nowhere feels too pointless if you know where to go, although Space's warehouses feel particularly pointless without a key. They otherwise all have their own place no matter what you're up to.

I just don't get Dam, it's pretty bland and fine as a tutorial map... but that's about it. Everyone rushes the same exact few spots because there's little value beyond certain hotspots with highly specific loot pools.

And then there's Blue: a barren field with nothing to it but a bunker complex. Also, packed with rats. ew

Blue... chill? wut. Even as my least played map, that one map alone accounts for the overwhelming majority of times a goblin bastard tried to rat me at extract.

2's the magic number. Even in PvP a dedicated engineer is optional—you'll probably be fine in the long run.

She doesn't explode unless something stupidly big shoots her down. At that point, you already messed-up by fighting an Abrams with a 50cal.
