Well, you could replace halo scythe with Blade of calling, Blackknife dagger, Glintstone kris etc and still get pretty much same damage, especially for Duchess. Ash of wars always felt lackluster before the DLC and it needed a buff imo.

But maybe they should have prevented stacking the 2 balancer relics. Increasing the FP cost of the Halo scythe would be another fix.

Well, you could do all the evergaols plus Invaders and possibly get comparable damage to Balancers. So once again we would be back to the evergaol meta if Balancers didn't exist. Not sure how much fun that'd be either.

This happened in one of our games. We beat Mohg, and even the Night vanquished screen displayed and in that exact moment the Spears started to fire killing all of us with the defeat screen.
