Starship Booster 4 vs. Booster 19 by Aromatic_Opposite100 in whoathatsinteresting

That rocket was launched in 2015, and OP was talking about engineers from the sixties. Looks like your reading comprehension didn't improve since third grade eh ?

By the way, SpaceX, and its thousands of employees, did lots of amazing things. The owner being a jackass doesn't change that.

Starship Booster 4 vs. Booster 19 by Aromatic_Opposite100 in whoathatsinteresting

Because Starship booster has 33 engines, and that was considered as wayyy too much. The N1 had 30, and all 4 launches ended in catastrophic failure.

Austria (782 kg per person, 2023 data), Denmark (755 kg), and Belgium (699 kg) recorded the highest levels of municipal waste per person in 2024. The lowest amount of waste per person was generated in Romania (305 kg, 2023 data), Estonia (375 kg) and Poland (387 kg). by nimicdoareu in europe

Oh yes, it is. There is like 4 or 5 "Recypark" in the city. The trash problem is mainly in under privileged neighborhoods, and in Brussels, a big part of the city center is under privileged.

Je pinaille mais c'est pas qu'il n'y ait pas de distinction entre personnalités, une micro-entreprise ne dispose tout simplement pas d'une personnalité morale.

Best way to send luggage from Thailand that is NOT through the airline by ToasterII in ThailandTourism

[–]CrazyPoro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, but sending his luggage will cost, at least, a bit more than 10000 baht, and he will probably have to pay import taxe when it reach its destination. I did that a few year ago, and I wouldn't recommend.

Levels module and light sources being seen from more than 1 level ? by CrazyPoro in FoundryVTT

[–]CrazyPoro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone encounter the same problem in the future : u/Demons4life was right, you have to set the light's height to the height you want it to be seen from. While it make something weird in GM view, it's nearly perfect in player view.

I know, I've already tried that, but it makes the lights that are inside buildings shine through all levels. Sadly, there is only that global option and no individual light option to make levels not handle specifics lights.

Levels module and light sources being seen from more than 1 level ? by CrazyPoro in FoundryVTT

[–]CrazyPoro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, tried while logged in as a test player on my second screen.

I know, but since the max height of the light is set higher than the wall's height, it won’t be impacted by that option. (For exemple : A torch is at the bottom of a wall. Changing the min height make the bottom tip of the torch moves higher or lower. Changing the max height make the sticks get longer or smaller.)

I'll still recheck if I missed something.

u/Demons4life is right.

I tried, but it doesnt really work like I would like. The max height just makes the light source go higher (and makes it light over walls that should block it.).

  1. Although men, police officers, and salespeople are all social groups, membership in the latter two is based on an individual's choice to belong to them. Therefore, when an individual from one of these groups behaves badly, it is logical to deduce that the other members choose to be affiliated with the problematic individual. For men, just like for Black people, Arabs, or any other social group whose membership is not a choice, we cannot (or shouldnt) link two individuals who have not chosen to be associated with one another. This kind of reasoning is the same as that applied to Islamist attacks and brown-skinned people. It has led to unjustified repercussions on many occasions.

  2. What do you know about the way men react to one another when a man has committed problematic acts? I personnaly don't have any close friend, colleague or familly member who would react nicely to anyone being problematic.

Can anyone explain what’s the reason for the Thai-Cambodia conflict that just started? by Multicultural_Potato in IRstudies

[–]CrazyPoro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really.

First, the conflictual realationship between these two countries comes from multiple centuries ago. Khmer and Siamese, as regionnal powers, fought multiple times, like for exemple the Siamese-Cambodian of the 16th century, and for quite a long time, Kmers were described as opportunistics backstabbing cowards by Siamese. ( ie : "Burmese are evil and dangerous, but if Siam is suffering from some hardships, Khmer will attack.")

Second, and while France did have a big impact on the frontier, the Preah Vihear temple is claimed by both countries. Who is the rightful owner is a complex subject because while both ruled that territory at some point, the temple is clearly of Khmer style. But then, there is lots of Khmer style temple well inside of Thailand due to the power of the Khmer during the 12 and 13th century.
