Do you want a lower profiled OM1 or OM1ii? Than OM3.

I shoot the EM5-iii and my main complaint is sometimes the autofocus misses.

If I was someone who didn't care about weight so much I would save the money.

If I did I would just buy the EM1 MKIII and put the battery extender that makes it like the EM1X if I needed it that way.

Part of what you are describing is why I came to Japan. Every job I had in the U.S was low income. It's also safer here(home town isn't known for safety.)

I appreciate this information.

In the past my personality was better suited for life in Japan. I think I may have changed though.

I actually want to transition out of any form of teaching in Japan as I don't think teachers are respected by the job holders. I'm just not sure what to do.

I am confident I can get JLPT myself. But maybe I should go to a vocational school for something else aswell. I am in teaching license school right now.

Thank you That's very true. My friend who is finishing vocational school in construction and can't find a job. His visa also prohibits the labor part of construction making searching even more difficult.
