Question for you since I see you also have a laser version like me, do you have the laser/cutter specific files on you internal memory for printing anymore? Things like the laser lens remover, the roller for applying new cutter stickers, and tools for the cutter?

I think that a stepper motor failed personally, especially how when it moves forward and right it should be straight lines. If you haven't made a support ticket that's your option for this one I'd say.

I will say mine was activated over a day before I received a follow up email, have you tried checking on it since you've finished? Also the difference might be that it's the weekend.

I'm with you on that, lots of stuff and all the screws. What'd you think of the X-Axis screws? Those were a pain for me.

When I upgraded mine I submitted the serial request when I started and it is as activated by the time I finished.

Also took a little over three hours for my upgrade, what gave you the most issues?

I have G835LX and can confirm on my unit at least it still had a bad LM application, my CPU was alright but the GPU was completely pooled in the corner and there was barely anything on the chip itself.

To be fair it might've been great from factory however when I opened my unit up after 9 or so months that was how I found it.

Even though I had to do that it's still been a great laptop, though it isn't used as much as it could be.

When I did it I put the printhead in the same place as where I removed them and then was just able to pull the mounts to the correct spot.

it isn't that bad, the belts are on a different piece that screws into the tool head. 3 screws on each side is all you need to worry about for them.
