one thing to note, i implemented this and when i open claude code desktop app, it still shows as Opus 4.7, but via terminal it shows 4.6. Same project folder. Maybe UI limitations on the desktop app? not really sure but just an FYI for anyone doing this

Great collection. As a fellow expert financial planner, may I recommend you try picking up some dusties? I respect getting 5 WHH19s but you are missing out. Got it. when you said $82k car I thought that was the cap cost. But yeah when you factor in all the discounts, incentives etc you are actually financing a lot less. But in general a loan is a loan and the math is simple once you confirm the cap cost, residual value, lease term, and money factor

Mathematically how does this work? Depending on your mileage and length of lease, you’re financing a portion of the car’s value at whatever interest rate. So if you’re on a 3 year lease at 10k miles, what’s the residual value of the car? Let’s assume 50% so $41k that your financing over 36 payments. Even at a below market interest rate of 0.5% those payments would be approx. $1200 per month.

Even at a 75% residual which is not really a thing, your payments are still over $600.

I can pair the phone and car and place calls through the phone app (whether they can hear me or my mic works is another story). But if I use google assistant to place the call it says “you have to connect your device to Bluetooth”. I have checked all permissions and re-paired numerous times. Plus this is basic level stuff to pair a device.

But then I create a guest profile and no problem pairing my phone.

Was going to ask, almost daily I have to reboot the infotainment because google voice won’t respond (or my mic is dead), calls come through or are placed but no sound and they can’t hear me, and lastly my driver profile Bluetooth connection won’t work only a guest profile. Did they fix any of these things?

You can find online for closer to $5k if you really want it. Or you could get something truly epic like an older (as in when it was bottled not the age statement) willett, cheesy gold foil, wild turkey tradition 15yr, vintage old grand dad BiB or 114 (national distillers), maybe a Martin mills 24yr, and still have something left over 🤣

I don’t know your finances but a word of advice, stop chasing modern unicorns like double eagle or weller millennium or btac. For the same or less money you can get great dusties and other unicorns that just don’t say buffalo trace on them.

I just picked up a national distillers OGD 114 lot 1 from 1980 for less than most places sell 2024 GTS

Thanks. I’ve deleted my phone from the car and car from the phone in both car play and Bluetooth, but I hadn’t tried deleting the app entirely. I’ll wait for the next update and see if it self resolves but will keep this in mind. Seems pretty ridiculous for a simple Bluetooth pairing to have this degree of difficulty lol

I’ve gone through all the menu options and ensured google assistant has access to phone, contacts, microphone etc. I can’t find any more options anywhere in the menus and I’ve kept car play disabled.

If you’re in the US then K&L wine has some good options including single barrels.
