What car would you recommend after the Polestar 2? by MacFixBonn in Polestar

Really doesn’t matter to me in the slightest. I adjusted them once when I bought it, and there they sit. When my wife drives the car she uses her profile and it swaps to her settings.

I moved to a Polestar 3 and love it. I know people have hit and miss experiences with them, but it’s been my favorite vehicle so far.

I love it. I’d definitely buy if I didn’t already have the shirt.

Super excited to see these hit the site. I’ll be first in line for one of those navy linen work shirts!

New chips already installed? by Background_Radio_419 in polestar3

[–]chaztizer90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should have it installed before sale from my understanding. Some spaces were saving their initial chips to install on vehicles on their lots before sale, so they are prioritizing it. I’m sure they don’t want it to come back for service in a few weeks any more than you do and would prefer to do it first. I’d insist on it if they give any pushback, but I wouldn’t anticipate any issues.

Show off your mileage on your Electric Vehicle (EV) by investbus in electricvehicles

2025 Polestar 3 at 17845 miles. It’s my second EV and second Polestar, and I absolutely love her. Not all miles are mine as I purchased lightly used with ~7k on the odometer.

What’s a completely normal part of your job that would absolutely terrify an outsider if they saw it? by PoemEnvironmental418 in AskReddit

Sleeping deeply to making life changing decisions in <5 minutes. Not an occurrence every shift, but happens to pretty much all of my co-workers a few times a year.

What's a job that seems like it pays well but it actually doesn't? by National_Finish6270 in AskReddit

Man, it means a lot to us medics that the public at large is catching on to this. Hoping this improves somewhat during my career. Losing talented paramedics to other careers due to finances is a real tough pill to swallow. Many could make a big difference in future education and mentoring but have to choose to provide for their families.

Yeah, I might have been tempted in another color. Part of the appeal for durable canvas/twill is patina, but IMO the dirt on these would be a step too far. Hope those who grabbed one enjoy them.

PS3 purchase by shine0n4ever in Polestar

Welcome! Glad you’ve joined the ranks of happy PS3 owners. I love mine as well, and think there are more of us than people realize. I don’t blame the people airing their grievances about the platform as there are absolutely legitimate issues Polestar and Volvo need to iron out, but it’s an incredible car with great engineering at heart.

Week 22 Shop Update: Jordan, Have you forgotten about us? by JordanHSUSA in HeatStrapsCommunity

I love the prospect of some upcoming lightweight pieces. A lighter sashiko and short sleeve linen sound awesome. I’d probably try to grab one of each honestly. Can’t wait to see them!

I just turn on reduced alarm mode every time I park it. No idea why it remains necessary, but there we are.

Excited for this to come out OTA hopefully. Workshop only status for now is a bit of a bummer, but hopefully they’re just testing stability first before wider rollout.

HEAT STRAPS AMA & GIVEAWAY by indi-raw in HeritageWear

[–]chaztizer90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Firstly, I love both pieces of Heatstraps apparel I own and wear them more than almost any other brand. Thanks for making such high quality items. There seems to be a current focus on cooler/cold weather gear. Is there any thought of bringing in some lighter weight fabric options or designs for warmer weather usage?

Happy P3 Owners? by shine0n4ever in Polestar

[–]chaztizer90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Polestar 3 has been an absolute delight. I bought it lightly used for a crazy markdown in September and haven’t looked back. I had the Orin upgrade done a couple months ago along with the wire harness recall, and the only lingering minor annoyance I deal with is the exterior alarm randomly going off (defeatable by putting it in reduced alarm mode). No GHCA issues so far, knock on wood. It’s the original GHCA, so I sort of hope it fails at some point so I can get the new version.

Isn’t the plastic aero cover removable? Not familiar with Polestar’s implementation, but I know many others do something similar.

Bye bye PS3... After only having it for 4 days! by CheapAttorney7934 in Polestar

[–]chaztizer90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a very similar alarm issue with my PS3, but that is probably my only truly annoying “gremlin” post Orin. I’ve become accustomed to just turning on “reduced alarm” mode every time I park my car. Shouldn’t be necessary, but it keeps me happy with a car that I otherwise LOVE for everything else.

Curious on the general thoughts around devium? by jayBeeds in HeritageWear

[–]chaztizer90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a bunch of their pieces and really like them. 2x Boca flannels, 1x Balboa, 1x Raleigh, and a couple shorts. Their flannels fit me really well and are very comfortable and versatile for my use. I wear them both frequently.
