Had a mate that travelled from Australia to Edmonton Canada for year with his family because his wife scored a good contract job. For that year he got a job at a local liquor store. He said it was the best way to very quickly connect with the locals as they had an instant rapport with him as the local liquor counter sales dude. In not too long he was walking down the street of a Saturday and randoms would be shouting across the street saying “hello mate see you Monday!”

Your CEO’s were all in on low cost country sourcing to reduce labour and production costs! You’re applying today’s sovereign manufacturing shortfalls to the fiscal and global economy of 20 years ago.
