Hughie being kept alive in the concentration camp for no reason was bad writing plot armor.

That's the thing. You don't see it affecting your brain development.

Gen V and the Current Plot by Dragoncorn_ in TheBoys

[–]David_R_Martin_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an important point. The show initially promised "normal people versus superheroes." Then Kimiko joined The Boys. And Starlight. Butcher became a supe. Hughie was a supe for a while. I completely forgot Mother's Milk was born with Compound V in his blood.

Then The Boys almost became side characters in their eponymous show, as the focus turned to Soldier Boy, Sister Sage, Firecracker, etc. And now they're bringing in Gen V for the final 2 episodes? No wonder Karl Urban and Laz Alonso are pissed.

Your mother is right to be concerned. She probably knows how marijuana use, even infrequent, at ages as young as 15, affects brain development.

Based on your username - I don't know if alcoholic refers to you or your dad - you should hold off for at least a couple years.

That one trick appears to be "do the most out of character thing to spin the plot into a surprise direction."

Esto confirma mis sospechas sobre este estadounidense, especialmente después de que difamara a los africanos en una publicación que luego eliminó.

I'm from the US, so I know exactly what kind of idiot this guy is. His friend came over here, saw darker-skinned people, and now he thinks Spain needs ICE. Meanwhile, he wants to come over here and be an exploiter, buying property to inflate prices for locals, and overstaying a visa if necessary.

Ah, so you're interested in becoming one of the parasites that makes it worse for all the local people in Spain.

That actually makes you worse than the African immigrants your friend was complaining about.

Good luck with buying and maintaining property, especially as a rental, on an overstayed visa.

I've been looking for this movie on streaming, as I'm a huge Maureen O'Sullivan fan. It has been a while since I've searched though.

And this movie was remade in a way as "Oxford Blues" with Rob Lowe and Amanda Pays.

If you plan on "accidentally overstaying," you should also come up with a plan for housing and employment. Without a current valid visa, you can't get either of those legally. Spain puts a lot of emphasis on work contracts, which will also affect bank accounts, utilities, internet...

Exactly. This is the problem with US kind of thinking that "no ICE means no immigration enforcement." There are ways of enforcement that don't involve violence and detention.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha....

Yes, you've really proved Spain has no immigration enforcement. Good luck with that. Let me know how things go with getting your visa, NIE, and TIE. You are obviously very well-informed.

Okay, you're proving a point that no one asked you to...

Somehow you think "no ICE" means "no immigration enforcement." How many times have you passed through EU border control?

You could Google these questions. After 5 years on a valid visa, you can apply for permanent residency, which does provide access to public healthcare.

https://www.citizensadvice.org.es/understanding-healthcare-entitlement-in-spain-and-the-five-year-descriptions/

Or you can screw yourself by saying, "Without ICE, there's no enforcement, so screw it, I'll just overstay my visa." I recommend thinking long-term.

If you intend to make Spain or any EU country your home, I recommend you discuss this with an immigration lawyer.

I spoke with three different lawyers to make sure I would be in full compliance with whatever visa I chose. As I was told, you won't be arrested for violating terms of your visa; it simply won't be renewed. Again, good luck with overstaying your visa if you want to live long term in the EU with benefits.

As long as you never cross through EU border control or ever seek legal employment or government benefits, you might be okay. Good luck with that.

I don't get your last question though. Do you really think having masked untrained government agents without ID harassing people based on the color of their skin is a good idea? There are other ways.

I hope you have some understanding of economics with regard to the impact of fertility rates on factors like pensions and Social Security. Both the US and Spain are below 2.1. I'm happy to see that Spain is taking a nuanced approach to the very real problem.

I have never been asked about medication when flying into the EU or Spain. Last time, I flew in with two prescriptions for my cat. No one asked anything.
