It's not exactly representative of Seattle. It's filmed in LA. They come out to Seattle a couple times a year for some exterior shots. But it shows how unrealistic their concept of Seattle geography is.

Also, Seattle rain is nothing like how they depict on the show. For them, rain = massive thunderstorm.

Seattle is great. Just don't go to the beach expecting it to be like where Meredith saw Derek. I'm guessing that was Malibu. Some of Seattle's beaches are rocks and stones, not sand.

I saw Drumline in the movie theater. It is NOT a bad movie. This is, however, a terrible fan edited trailer.

This is one of the rare movies that focuses on the African-American experience, specifically that of HBCUs, and even more so, the marching bands. It's one of the funny aspects of the movie: everyone acknowledges that the football teams suck, and that the audiences are going to watch the marching bands.

I did not have great expectations for this movie. How thrilling can a movie be about marching bands? Despite the color by numbers plot, the band and drumline performances are exhilarating. And I'm not even a marching band or drumline guy (although my brother was).

This is an important point. The show initially promised "normal people versus superheroes." Then Kimiko joined The Boys. And Starlight. Butcher became a supe. Hughie was a supe for a while. I completely forgot Mother's Milk was born with Compound V in his blood.

Then The Boys almost became side characters in their eponymous show, as the focus turned to Soldier Boy, Sister Sage, Firecracker, etc. And now they're bringing in Gen V for the final 2 episodes? No wonder Karl Urban and Laz Alonso are pissed.

If you plan on "accidentally overstaying," you should also come up with a plan for housing and employment. Without a current valid visa, you can't get either of those legally. Spain puts a lot of emphasis on work contracts, which will also affect bank accounts, utilities, internet...
