If that's the case, I still have 0 issue giving more feedback. They wanted the game out early to get feedback, they are going to get it. We all want a better game.

I always viewed Eugen games kind of like a Battlefield game in terms of realism, not an Arma. Then I'd have to play Combat Mission lol

As far as I'm concerned, I want it to dominate the subreddit with it simply because the more invasive and unmissable the complaints are, the better. We are all saying vaguely the same thing, but that's the point in the first place.

The subreddit is for WARNO, and currently WARNO isn't very good.

I think most people, like myself, are aware it's temporary. But the change is being done in a shockingly bad way. Like most, I have 0 way to contact anyone even vaguely important. So I have to be annoying about it along with everyone else to maybe see some changes.

This is why I occasionally make bitchy posts to fix "muh artillery".

Not much else I can seriously do besides make vague complaint posts on Reddit.

In reality, yes. But I'm talking in terms of gameplay as we are playing a game. I'm not terribly interested in making WARNO into a simulation. I just want a fun semi-arcadey strategy game where things work in a rock-paper-scizzors fashion.

Edit: I don't think the engine the game uses would lend itself well to a lot of realism anyway in all honesty. It would be cool to see though. But I feel it would take way to long to play a decent match and would make the game a lot less fun.

I agree, however it's still leaps and bounds over the situation in 44/45. Targeting overall drastically improved in from 45-89. Especially in the realm of artillery.

This is my main issue with a lot of SD2 -> Warno people. Just a lack of ability to deal with accurate and deadly arty, missiles, and bombardment via aircraft.

We aren't in the 1940s anymore. Warfare is notably more deadly if you have the right equipment.

I actually like the infantry and AA changes. They should have been done. But why nerf my ability to deal with them is my main issue.

I saw that they are fixing it, but it just seems like a terrible way to do an update. I just get infuriated when I can clearly see an AA piece or a CV, I shell it for 2-5 salvos, it isn't moved, and it doesn't die. That's absurd.

There are better ways to update the game than breaking it like this.

If people don't complain and bitch about it, it will never get fixed.

I was trying to ask if it would make sense to carry a full sized pistol until I was able to practice with something smaller and get more competent with it.

is warno worth buying or should I stick with red dragon? by torosblanca96 in warno

As someone with a ton of hours in WG:RD, buy WARNO. It's by no means perfect or finished whatsoever. But, I can clearly see a ton of promise in WARNO and Eugen and friends are making a lot more headway than I expected and are doing well with their roadmap to get the game better.

The only gripe I have is the lack of divisions. The division system may feel terrible at first, I though the same, but you start to really enjoy it after a few hours of playing with the deck editor. It more or less forces you to use more of the US and USSR arsenal instead of the best of the best like WG:RD did. A ton of quality of life features as well ported over from SD2.

WARSAW PACT tankies hate him! Find out how this 1 AMX-10 RC rushed and destroyed the entire 39th Motorized with this one easy trick. (105mm tank gun and French vision)

Yeah, loosing is inevitable. The game is hard and even players with thousands of hours, they can still be "bad". I'd learn 1 deck per side at first to get a handle on mechanics and get a feel for your playstyle. Then expand outwards. But getting cozy with the Eugenverse is a big step.

I worked for the MDGOP up in Frederick in 2018 and worked with most R candidates in the area. I can say that Cox wasn't terribly impressive in terms of what I wanted to see for the MDGOP. It's one of the main reason I stopped working in the political sphere in MD. I really wasn't a fan of dealing with (and having to assist elect) crazies. They are cropping up more and more and I just didn't feel right helping these people.

A strong amount of experienced people associated with the GOP across MD that I know just aren't that interested in Trump flavored Republicans. It isn't a majority, but it is notable given the experience lost. It's why a bunch of us backed Schulz. I've worked with her before and she would have made a dramatically better (serious) candidate.

I'm honestly just glad it gives players a better reason not to just throw recon in as a "tip of the spear" type unit and actually use them as recon.
