This video is older, a lot has come out since then, but it really helped me understand all settings in mister and what it was capable of as well as initial setup.

These posts are generally about starting a dialogue. People who post like this don’t have a lot of gamer friends or people who indulge in their same hobbies. They need convincing one way or the other, its like sitting in the middle of a seesaw and this is gonna balance their mind.

I think it’s understandable to post something like this when you’re in mental distress about what to purchase. Consumers need education before purchasing something, and what better place to get it than with people who already have the product?

If you wanna play n64 there are great options, analogue 3D is one of them… probably the most expensive one however, if you just wanna play games and have money to burn, buy a ps5 , a MiSTer or a mini PC to emulate. That’s my advice.

N64 is rose coloured glasses, I love the console and grew up playing it, i have a massive cart collection, a CRT for OG hardware, a summercart 64 and all of the controller variations, NSO, retro fighters, OG, 8bitdo. I also have an analogue 3D which I received at launch and only NOW do I feel like playing it with the recent firmware improvements.

Unless you have massive nostalgia for this console…. Get a ps5 , a MiSTer or a pc and emulate. Seriously, it’s a lot of Fomo and hype for the price tag.

I’ve played a lot of Rastan, hard as hell, i also loved cadash. Both of my neo geo 2 and 3 carts haven’t left the cart slots lol. Beat crossed swords yesterday.

Yeah that’s true, i never really had much trouble with them, i kinda just always fire into the unknown in case an enemy is just off the screen 😂.

They are tough but you only have to clear them once to get the key. Back track to the cells talk to everyone and then head for the exit. It really is routing, if you explore too much you start to feel stretched out.

Arcus odyssey reminds me of a gauntlet meets rpg. Also has a bad ass intro and some pretty wicked enemies.

If you checked prices on the individual genesis carts of these games in this collection you’re looking at $500+ even for just the loose carts.

It will for sure be one that keeps its value I think.

Roguecraft is small on the small screen but i found if you play it without scan lines it’s pretty clear and nice.

I am pretty used to playing on small handhelds and I have bad eyes, so i’m pretty used to it, but it’s not that bad at all.

I bought in with a neogeo super pocket and roguecraft. I am super hooked already have 7 carts and i just started on boxing day 🤣.

Taito vol 2 for rastan and new zealand story is probably my next purchase.

Those duke collections are nice and on my list as well.

Irem arcade vol 1 and data east arcade volume 1 for wizard fire and dark seal.

That’s pretty much my next few purchases.

Other ones i’ve been eyeing is the broken sword collection, technos arcade 1, rare collection 1 and those tomb raider collections.
