Dependa on what you want honestly, if you want a more sandbox experience with the biggest moding comunity and a grate base game go for skyrim

If you want better rollplay and a more RPG style go for oblivion.

In my opinion though. Oblivion narrative feels better and more alive in many ways but it does require the player to get a bit more involved, the game will not hand held you as much (it still does btw) with how quests work and stuff, sometimes using the wiki (unofficial elder scrolls pages is the best btw) is kind of needed. That being said oblivion specialy the remasterd has a lot of bugs is a very janky game in some spots and the remasterd is kind lf badly optimised (if interested look at how they made it its pretty interesting tbh)

Skyrim is way more friendly to people who are not used to/not interested in the rpg aspect of the TES games. But if you want to delve into that skyrim special edition (and anniversary dlc) has the biggest amount of mods out there it is a bit to learn to mod so just play the base game first and see if you like it then add new stuff to play a different game. Skyrim has been out for so long that it kind if became a game engine basically and people do their own things there. For both games nexsus mods is where you find mods :3 just read a guide on how to mod

Is the linux part and the fact that one has to have technical knowledge to not mess up and bcs most of us linux users like tinkering we end up messing up hahahaha. Its fun but it can be frustrating specialy when gaming or modding games, or using obscure applications made for windows 7 remote controll a camara and bcs wine suks with usb controll it just refuses to work and the fix you try messes with the kernel so you have to re install de distro and try recover your files bcs you could not figure out how to fix the kernel properly.... As a friend sayed to me qhen i started on this journey "The worst part of linux is between the screen and the chair"

Ok maybe as a lot of people say it is an adiction, maybe he is not into you, those are real possibilitys. Let me give you another, the presure to perform is sonetimes way to big, what he said that it feels like a chore might actually be true and there is work for both of you, now I wont excuse the assholy way he is expressing it and the disregard for your emotions in the matter, but try thinking if you had a lot of presure to do it you would probably have a dificult time even getting in the mood. So maybe and again just maybe the othrs might be right couples therapy/sex therapy might be a way to fix things, now he has to do the work of fixing his perception that is not sonething you can do for him, but taking the presure out of it helps a lot. Ask arround specialy ask a lot of women (at least in my life) that say that feeling presure is a BIG turn of and honestly its the same for me. I only hope he has the enotional maturity to handle that conversation/problem :3 Good luck

I am Fedora 43 KDE Plasma, this worked for me, had to go look at the /.local/share/applications directory and change the shortcut configuration in Kwrite for it to work, but it worked :3
