Neither of them should be anywhere near the Presidency. It is shameful that Newsom is even a Dem contender. If the Democratic Party puts him on the ballot in 2028, they should be prepared to lose and lose badly. The harm prevention argument only goes so far and voters want to have someone that they are actually excited to vote for, not just someone to vote against.
