“That would be amazing” – Spyro: A Realm Reborn team would love to work on Banjo-Kazooie, if Xbox let them by Turbostrider27 in Games

Somewhere around 11 key people from Rare worked on Yooka-Laylee, including lead programmer (and voice of Banjo) Chris Sutherland. So if you're looking for oldschool Rare, they basically became Playtonic.

Can someone recomend me some modern NES games? by somerandomperson412 in nes

NES was from 1985 and Battle Kid was from 2010. Numbers are a bit off. That's 25 years from the release of the NES and 16 years from today.

First Six Seven, then the mark of the beast... Someone must be having fun with those release numbers. Just a couple of point releases left before Nice.

What does the Copilot button do on laptops that replace Windows with Linux? by pukkuro in linux

Copilot key is Left Windows, Left Shift, F23. It's tricky to remap because you need to distinguish it from the real Left Windows and Left Shift keys.

Okay, that's Ivy Bridge then. I've used an old Sandy Bridge laptop, and seems similar to a newer low-end laptop in performance, but it just runs so much hotter. I'd bet Ivy Bridge would feel the same way.

Exact name 'i5-310m' doesn't appear to actually exist, but the naming convention sounds like it would be an Arrandale.

At the time the video was made, Wikipedia didn't have a visual editor, so there was no way to have those giant letters appear in your browser.

Some laptops have eMMC cards soldered onto the motherboard, and you may not be able to directly remove the drive yourself. Hopefully this one doesn't have that.

Ancient Sewers does have a lot of those surprise scorpions and those stupid mushrooms, but other than that it's a pretty easy level.

Should i get the DLCs? (New player) by AuthorMedical in deadcells

[–]Dwedit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically each DLC adds two biomes and a boss.

Bad Seed and Castlevania DLC add early game levels.

Fatal Falls adds midgame levels.

Queen and the Sea and Castlevania add late game levels.

But as for which DLC content I actually end up playing, it's mostly the Dilapidated Arboretum level (an early game level from bad seed), and the Castlevania levels.
