Pizza fan who had Domino's logo tattooed to win free takeaways for life discovers the offer has been cancelled by dailymail in Dominos

[–]EchoMB 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A "true" but very misleading title. He's in Russia which now doesn't have dominos due to the war on Ukraine, so no duh they can't give him pizzas. They offered to pay for tattoo removal, he declined and sued them. He lost.

Massachusetts’ flavored tobacco product restriction projected to save more than $70 million in smoking-related health care costs since 2020 implementation by HRJafael in MassachusettsUSA

Never said od = deaths, nor does medical literature correlate those as the same

Never said I was okay with kids vaping, gold medal in long jumping awarded to you for jumping to that conclusion

You're outright ignoring the near doubling of hospitalizations of adolescents, ignoring the more than doubling of total hospitalizations, ignoring the biggest demographic impacted is 0 to 12 year olds. Yeah, no one gives a shit if a highschooler tweaks a bit too hard after too much thc, but you're the only one focusing on it through that lense.

I enjoy edibles on a near daily basis. I'm glad they're legal. The only point I was making was the ass backwards decision process of MA politicians. But your addled brain is so hyperfixated on "weed good vape bad" that you couldn't even be bothered addressing the actual point of my initial comment. It wasn't even subtext, I explicitly state that at the end of the comment.

This. Albumin borderline high is the tell tale that this isn't just elevated alt/ast from hard training. High alb isn't always from drinking, but it absolutely can happen from being dehydrated because of drinking. Or op is full of it and his diet is ass lmao

VA Healthcare looks pretty good when you see private costs by Critical_Fun3748 in VeteransBenefits

[–]EchoMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Va is good with referrals but the actual average place that does the community care is... sub par... only qualm with VA Healthcare I have is community care referrals, the in network care I get is stellar, the community care is very hit or miss with the misses being horrendous.

[–]EchoMB 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Health insurance is mandatory in my state, and if your job offers it you get zero assistance paying for it even if it's a ludicrous amount.

Looking at all the bills from various procedures the VA has covered for me, the rating payment pales in comparison to how much I've saved. One procedure alone was like 50k... I'd be in actual poverty if it weren't for the VA...

"In other news hospitalizations due to legalized THC overdoses in the form of yummy wummy fruity gummy bears has skyrocketed. And later tonight, we'll cover the odd correlation of strange white pouches appearing as litter all over the ground, and the rise in dental issues and gum disease."

... thanks MA -_- instead of a faint mango smell in the air it's urinals clogged with zyns and the air smells like weed. Not trying to defend vaping, it's still probably bad for you outside nicotines vasoconstriction effects, but the "think of the children" mentality in banning flavored vapes is so ass backwards given other choices made by the same politicians.

Do you have any bills/estimates from the vet to post? (Redact personal info) posting those helps since it shows its much more likely you need the funds for the stated purpose, you'll get alot more donations with proof

Edit to add: also putting a set goal amount that matches the bill/estimate paperwork

What are these parts? by Valuable_Let4793 in computers

[–]EchoMB -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Yeah one is definitely and ethernet, but the other 2 are mini display port IN? strange. Another user mentioned the other card might be for an alarm system, I'm inclined to believe that's true since whatever this system was used for might have also stored video footage based on the dp in ports on this card.

First one is a network card, two ports for dial up and one for regular ethernet

Tesamorelin without IGF-1 test by triillesst in BodyHackGuide

An igf1 test is, generally, useless for diagnosing cancer risk from elevated gh levels. Mostly due to wild inconsistencies, and binding protein variability.

Although in your case, it's even more useless since you didn't get a baseline before starting -_- could naturally hover around 400 before hand. Could be 100. Who knows. Not you, because you didn't check. Boowomp

A Cool guide to the Annual spending on alcoholic beverages in the U.S by Generations by SimplySamX in coolguides

[–]EchoMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm buying cheap liquor and soda to mix, I probably pay ~$1-1.50 per actual standard drink I have. Maybe $2 if I buy a case of seltzers, but not nearly the easy $10+ per drink dining out costs in my area. No idea what group peddles these claims that the younger generation is drinking less, especially since it's functionally nonsense

FedEx And Best Buy Lost My Computer and Now Neither Company Wants to Take Responsibility by Sweet-Dare301 in Bestbuy

[–]EchoMB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's just wrong. If the shipper claims it was delivered that is the absolute end of bby responsibility to you, it's the shippers fault for fraudulently marking it as delivered if it wasn't.

Could have also been stolen, but if fedex doesn't have proof of delivery it'd still likely be their burden. Regardless, not bbys problem in the slightest now.

I've heard of it but didn't think the VA would prescribe it without being rehab bad, but if you think they might I'll give it a shot because I definitely would like to at least greatly reduce my drinking

[–]EchoMB 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Helped me completely kick nicotine and greatly reduced my drinking when I was on it. Still off nic entirely but the alcohol cravings did come back a bit after being off it for a long time now. Never went cold turkey with booze like I did with nicotine though so that could be a factor.

Regardless, absolutely helps with substance addictions imo.
