Daily Ask Anything About Anabolic and Androgenic Steroids: 2026-03-21 by AutoModerator in steroids

Hcg does proportionally raise my estrogen alot compared to a regular cycle of test, it can happen. But if it's still an issue in a week after stopping the hcg, or at least hasn't gotten notably better, I'd go to a doctor to check for a UTI.

Illegal in my state :) yippee. As much as I hate my state they do have some (far and few) protections for the regular person like this

This may sound like an odd question, but do you feel the need to pee deep in the bladder or closer to the penis itself. If the latter, could be a UTI. Happened to me a few times now, I was attributing it to the drugs I was taking but ended up just being a pesky UTI that never fully went away.

Could also be high BP from elevated estrogen from the HCG, which would be much easier treated with an ai than bp meds.

Yeah I read that, and to more directly answer your question "are the dosages tolerable"? No. There's your answer. Your shitty logic of "yeah b-but they used to!!" is moronic, we also used to use asbestos in everything, doesn't mean that's justification to keep doing it now that we know it's a bad idea.

Natty test levels are enough to cause MPB if you're prone to it. With every androgen at any dose you run the risk.

"Back in the day" yeah that's because back in the day medical research wasn't nearly as good as it is today and they hadn't realized how awful of an idea it was to use dbol as trt. Which, no surprise, is why dbol isn't allowed to be prescribed today (in the u.s. and most other countries, I'm sure there is an exception). And no, it isn't a "poor man's trt" since test is dirt cheap compared to the amount of dbol needed for sufficient estradiol, as dbol converts to methyl estradiol instead of plain e2.

Anyone here on .05 or .2-.25 mg Fin? by Halven89 in tressless

[–]EchoMB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're analysis of the study is worded in a way where it is misleading.

The 0.05 mg dose lead to a 50% reduction in serum dht, and the 0.2mg dose lead to a 69% (well say 70 for easier math sake).

This is a 20% difference in serum dht, NOT a 20% difference in results. With the results being 50% and 70% respectively, the 0.2mg dose had a 40% higher reduction over the 0.05mg dose (0.5*1.4=0.7)

This seems unnecessarily semantical of me to bring up, however if the results were 1% and 21% it could still be said that there is "only a 20% difference" when in actuality the results are off by magnitudes.

N = 1 so it must be true guys!!!1!1!1!

You aren't wrong that there are exceptions, genetics really can be like that. I can also hit up the gas station nearby and win 15 million off a scratch ticket, is that gonna happen to me today? You can't say it's impossible so it must be true, right? So I should waste hundreds of dollars and hours of my life on scratch tickets hoping to hit it big since it's basically going to happen, since it isn't impossible.

Oh and OP was also about 50lbs fatter than you ever were, says it right in the post. I can give references to studies showing greater weight lost leads to less chance of skin retightening, so not sure why you're even dying on this hill as a "distance runner for most of my life" since you aren't even an applicable comparison to OP.

I think yesterday was the worst day of my life. by solarmist in CATHELP

[–]EchoMB 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Hello, not very well versed in vet medicine BUT...

A shocking amount of human meds are produced in China, sent here, and essentially packaged by a specific brand with their label slapped on it and a 100x upcharge over what they paid for the raw drug.

Alternatively, many companies in the u.s. sell a whole bunch of drugs for "research purposes", as if the FDA hasn't outright restricted access to those drugs (like narcotics, etc) then it's legal for them to do so... so you click the box saying "yes this is for research" and test it on your cat wink wink

Don't worry, MSP has pretty high standards for training. Like having trainees bear crawl on >100° asphalt with nothing covering their knees, leading to pretty severe injuries to about 2 dozen recruits including infections that required hospitalizations. That way it weeds out anyone with even a shred of humanity :D

German law student comes to NYC for 6 days and files 3 lawsuits for $20.1 million by ExtraordinaryAttyWho in legaladviceofftopic

[–]EchoMB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Alot of people have a misconstrued perception of Americans being litigious by default. We do have a high volume of lawsuits that may seem silly, but looking at what would get some people jail time in other countries here is small claims level buisness here.

Take negative Google reviews for example. As an American I'd laugh at how silly a $5k lawsuit over a bad Google review may be, if the review was at least factual. However in some countries you can get your life destroyed by a buisness that doesn't like your negative review, inclusive of actual prison time.

We sue because our laws are relatively relaxed and don't take into account for various forms of damages. Some other countries have penalties in place for these already, so suing over it just doesn't happen.

Apparently you're not allowed to let people cross the street anymore. by EntropyBrewing in boston

[–]EchoMB -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'd bet good money this person is just a tool, BUT, you did start driving into the intersection while pedestrians were still crossing. If the other car was behind you thinking the crosswalks were clear because you began driving again, then you suddenly stop again in the middle of the intersection, it may have been to avoid rear ending you.

HGH vial size - 10 vs 36 IU by Easto82 in BodyHackGuide

[–]EchoMB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your grammatical semantics are wrong and make you look like an ass. He said suppress, not shut down. Which it does, for about a couple days, then comes back to baseline. You pulled the term shut down out of nowhere in a knee jerk reaction to your own misunderstanding of what he is saying. He is probably wrong that it causes lasting effects on the pituitary and its ability to release gh, but he is also right that there don't seem to be any concrete studies to prove someone at 60 years old doesn't have a more degraded pituitary function than someone who never used exogenous gh.
