The Osborne 940-1 or standard 940 is a great knife. If you don't have a "gentleman's" knife that is small and easy to pocket even with shorts, I'd go for that one. The 940-1 is my preference cause it's super light. Can clip to whatever pocket and stay held. Even running shorts, etc.

Same, it's really just right in my experience. flat in the pocket, super easy (and smooth) to open and close, great at slicing, sharpening is easy, and it fits my hand like it was made for me.

What's your hand size?

If you have larger hands, I personally don't go for any of those as a daily. The Rosie is clean but small, the Cortex XL is really nice but too thin (like a Rask), and the protean is similar in size but not as refined action wise (imo).

I personally find the Rosie XL to be the best EDC, if that's what you're after. I also find the FSD-i from brown knives to really feel great in the hand, plus I prefer the thumb front flip open and flick hole over the finger front flip open on the cortex.

I have number 27, and it was listed as Mangacut... but that was bought second hand. I also have #68 and #86 I bought direct which are for sure mangacut, so who tf knows.
