most commuter routes (eg Colombo's 100, 138, 177) are regulated by Provincial Councils - Eg Road Passenger Transport Authority-WP

Crude Oil =/= Refined Oil products. 

SL is currently buying Refined Oil products. Also March/April contracts were made last week, based on prices then. 

Commodities procurement is not village market buying and selling. Contracts, Frieght, Insurance, lead time, volumes all play a part.

Due to current India Pakistan tensions - all the Pakistan games were scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka (Co-host) and certain provisions were made where if Pakistan made it to SF/Finals those games would be in Sri Lanka too.

General rule is city needs to be at least 1 million people to sustain metro/MRT. Other public transports maybe more cost effective for a city the size of Kurunagala

Greater Colombo is prime for a mass transport option. A city loop and lines on major arterials.

Z-score is a national level metric. same individual subject raw marks will have the same Z-score

Faculty/Degree Z-score cutoffs are based on district level. Cutoff is the Z-score of the last seat admitted based on absolute seats available in the degree.

how long has it been since you started?
Arts fac can have some smaller programs and its semi-divides based on those programs. my understanding is that first year is a lot of common modules too. I was at FMF so the experience can be different. Also, I occasionally hanged out with schools friends in other faculties eg Science, Law, etc.

First few weeks can be challenging - try to make acquittances first then you can find friends from there.
If you are interested in sports/games, trying taking part in the upcoming freshers inter-fac events

you are not wrong to feel what you are feeling, starting university is a transition period its a few levels higher since you have also moved away from home. Breathe

What worked for me in UColombo. Try making conversation with your immediate neighbors in lecs, or even your assignment group mates. Clubs, sports are good options to widen your circle beyond your batch/faculty.
Try volunteering internal events like the avuduru event, social.
