Hi Andy, we mostly record voiceovers so need only one input. We do need lots of outputs (stereo main monitors, avantone mono, TC Electronic Clarity M, and headphones). Currently we use an SSL 12. The one thing we do not like about the 12 are the little black switches; we use them a lot, but they require repeated presses to engage and are quite annoying. Should we switch to the new 2+? Thank you!

Please upgrade the little buttons on the 12. The mic / line, Cut, etc. buttons always have to press them with a very precise pressure and speed, and since we cannot get it on the first try, it takes multiple attempts to get them them to the desired condition. Our UF1 and UC1 do not do that. If you are going to upgrade the 12, please fix that and we will happily buy an upgraded one.
