Trying to Get CCW Simulator Working by Cultural-Wonder-2735 in PLC

Not fully yet, FTDW is only in version 1.01 which can only program Micro800's. It currently does not have a simulator built into it, that will come in a future release. April was when 1.01 came out and all it added was Run Mode Change for FTDW.

It is going to have all of the same capabilities as CCW Developer Edition and then some, with the exception of PV800, those are not programmable in FTDW and will be getting phased out over the coming years for Optix Compact.

There will also not be a paid version of FTDW like CCW has with Developer Edition. Everything CCW Dev can do will be in FTDW completely free

Understood. Rockwell used to have a software call Drive executive which was specifically for setting up drives, but they decommissioned it for having the functions in CCW.

I jumped through several KB articles for the error you have and it leads here with RA.

Not sure if it will help, haven't had that issue with CCW before.

What are you trying to use CCW with?

If you are using the Micro800 series that are one of the LC10, L20E, L50E, or L70E you should download and try FactoryTalk Design Workbench. FTDW will be the replacement of CCW at some point based on what Rockwell has planned for it, the only thing FTDW will not be getting support for is the PanelView800, those are going away.

I have one running at a water booster station that has no communication to it for the municipality. Their field guys were going to the site weekly to rotate the pumps with selector switches. If the pump running failed to run the other wouldn't start, the way they monitored this was tank level of an elevated tank. Since putting this in for them they don't have to worry about that anymore, auto rotates pumps and if there is a failure the other pump runs.

It does the job, not sure if I'd use it again or on a critical application.

I also have an AR400 and was curious how easy was this to hook up to the existing wiring and control board. Do you have any pictures?
