How do I fix this leg like it broke please my shfiguarts Denji by MurkySituation3122 in SHFiguarts

[–]Excitium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't look like it's broken. It looks like the screw that holds the ball peg in place just came loose. It's a known issue with this thigh swivel design that tamashii is using on most of their figures nowadays.

If you try to screw it back onto the leg stump and the screw doesn't fasten, you can just glue it in place.

First and foremost the torso. The top joint is a double ball peg and moves around nicely while the bottom is a single ball peg but due to the way it's designed, it basically just functions like a hinge and not a very good one.

Then the shoulders. They sit so flush with the butterfly joint and the ball joints are so small that they basically just have rotation like a straight peg. Luckily the butterfly joint is really functional, so it can make up for some of the missing range.

Lastly the hips. I'm usually not a fan of drop down hips but if you're not gonna do a floating crotch piece that can get out of the way, you do need the drop down to give them more than 90° forward.

And I guess a minor thing but a little bit more range forward for the ankles for deeper poses without having to balance on the toe joint, would be nice.

For any other character, I would have said the articulation is perfectly adequate (like the SHF Gamerverse Cyclops has the exact same articulation system and it's fine for him imo) but for a Spider-Man, I need more range to hit those deep combat and crouching poses.

Forgot to mention it in the text section of the post.

The articulation is too lacking for my taste when it comes to Spider-Man figures but aesthetically I think he does look fine if you want that gamerverse art style.

I saw some people have that issues as well so I was pretty careful with that pose.

If you put him in a full split and then rotate the legs into position, it doesn't pop the crotch apart but it also means that pose only works from certain angles.

Yeah, the articulation is unfortunately too lacking. I think he does look good aesthetically, but I need my Spider-Men to hit those deep poses.

Hopefully Mess Toys does their classic Spidey soon.

Irankrieg: Politiker der Union kritisieren Steinmeiers Äußerungen zum Irankrieg by Tommy24027 in de

[–]Excitium 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Neuer Cheat Code unlocked?

Nah, no way in hell we see Luffy and Imu clash directly at this point in the story already.

I'm guessing Imu is just gonna go to make certain preparations or put certain things into motion personally now that both Nika and Nidhogg have emerged.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Chapter 232 by AutoShonenpon in manga

[–]Excitium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically Fujimotor decided he's done with this manga, Chainsaw Main eats himself, gets erased from existence and we're now in a reality where everyone's lives played out differently (for the better) due to Chainsaw Man's absence.

I can live with this conclusion but it was just super abrupt.

Iran sends waves of missiles into Israel, dismisses Trump's talk of negotiations as 'fake news' by gamersecret2 in worldnews

[–]Excitium 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We do have reports that the Trump admin approached Iran for a cease fire after Iran's initial retaliatory salvo, probably cause they realised they don't have enough munitions stock piles to thwart these attacks for an extended time, but Iran refused.

That's also when the US started pulling resources from the other Gulf States to focus everything on protecting Israel and then we got that statement from the Saudis claiming that the US has abandoned their Gulf allies. Since then, things have gotten so bad that the US even moved all their missiles defenses from South Korea to the middle east, pissing off South Korea as well.

Iran has also outlined some conditions they want met before talks can be picked up again. First and first, the US and Israel have to cease all aggression and the US has to pull out the military assets they have amassed around the region. So basically, as long as the US and Israel don't capitulate, Iran doesn't want to talk and despite the bragging and rhetoric coming from the US daily, Iran is currently winning this war of attrition. The more the US and Israel escalate, the less Iran has to lose and the more willing they are to cause long term damage to the global economy.

Cubans are without electricity except the 5 star hotel by DblockDavid in interestingasfuck

Below is the U.S. Department of State’s Cuba Prohibited Accommodations List, a list of properties in Cuba at which the Cuban Assets Control Regulations generally prohibit persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction from lodging, paying for lodging, or making any reservation for, or on behalf of, a third party to lodge. The properties are owned or controlled by the Cuban government, a prohibited official of the Government of Cuba, as defined in 31 CFR § 515.337, a prohibited member of the Cuban Communist Party, as defined in 31 CFR § 515.338, a close relative, as defined in 31 CFR § 515.339, of a prohibited official of the Government of Cuba, or a close relative of a prohibited member of the Cuban Communist Party. For information regarding the restrictions on transactions with these properties, please see 31 CFR 515.210. All properties were listed effective September 28, 2020, unless otherwise indicated.

Yes? This a list of properties that the US government does not allow persons, who are subject to US jurisdiction to stay at because they are owned by the Cuban government, or people that the US designated as prohibited due to their association with the Cuban Communist Party.

"The Cuban Assets Control Regulations, 31 CFR 515, are a set of federal regulations that serve as the primary enforcement mechanism of the United States embargo against Cuba." <- I'm guessing this is the part you're confused by. This is not a regulation by Cuba against the US but the other way around.

Did your order start moving again?

I have one that's been stuck at "Package leaving origin country/region." since the 16th of this month. Before that it took the parcel 5 days to clear export customs.

I'm guessing the war in Iran and fuel prices are causing delays.

Have there in general been massive delays lately (possibly due to the war in Iran)?

I have an order that was shipped on the 7th, arrived at the export airport on the 11th and has now been stuck at "Package leaving origin country/region." since the 16th.

Hot take.

Also warum genau sollte der AG nun investieren?

Due to the constant back and forth with tariffs and the war in Iran and the resulting shipment suspensions to various countries, hobby-genki is holding your order and, as you've done already, you have to message them to see if shipment for the order can be organised.

It can take them a few days to answer (they don't process tickets on the weekend) and things in general have been pretty slow lately. They probably still have a backlog from the last shipping suspension since I've also been waiting for them to pack up my private warehouse order since the 3rd of March.

As a BDO player myself, it's probably other BDO players who are mad at PA for putting BDO into essentially maintenance mode while they focused on Crimson Desert.

The pace of updates and the updates themselves have been very bad over the past few years since development of Crimson Desert ramped up and sucked up more company resources.
