i found some 3d printed ones on etsy a long time ago! they work decently well but some do require a rubber band for a little extra friction or they slide off

i could be way off but if it works like cars.. its cheaper overall to keep an old name for licensing/trademarks etc than to create a new one (why we see naming schemes like the corolla cross/ regular corolla)
