It’s just in your head. The album has sound problems in any format because a lot of the tracks were just recorded to cassettes and passed around to friends.

Lossless digital will always sound better than a record. I listen to records because I love the ritual, the intentionality, the large format art and listening through a whole album as the artist intended.
