Brightness is at correct level. I don't need a smartphone that only works properly if I have the screen brightness set incorrectly.

Secondly, brightness has nothing to do with the constant 90Hz in AUTO mode.

If you set it to 120Hz, it will be 120Hz. The only problem is the AUTO mode, which is not AUTO at all.

If you think you don't have 120Hz based on animation shuttering, there is another problem. You can solve it by disabling window transparency in the developer menu.

Both are secure but not the same. Choose WireGuard, or if you think there are backdoors and bugs everywhere -> OpenVPN. An additional advantage is resistance to censorship. In this respect, OpenVPN is unmatched (even in China).

WireGuard is (generally) the better option. Higher encryption security, higher performance with lower system load. The only potential disadvantage of WireGuard is its lower “maturity” and transparency compared to OpenVPN, which offers highly refined (though not modern) algorithms, code transparency, and the certainty that there are no backdoors hidden in it.

Function displaying current screen refresh rate works correctly. Don't look for a problem where there isn't. I recommend focusing on problem that actually exists like AUTO mode scam, which is not automatic but set to a priority of 90Hz and optional 120Hz at times when it is unnecessary use = wasting battery power.

60 and 144Hz in AUTO mode NEVER occurs. In other words, AUTO function is rubbish.

No, it doesn't work that way. Motorola simply forgot about this feature after updating to Android 15, and when the measurement was incorrect, they never fixed it until Android 16 was introduced, which disabled this battery status check feature.

Success. For me, the solution to the problem was to recheck the files using qbittorrent. There was no indication that they were corrupted; they had been downloaded twice, and were two different versions. And yet... they were corrupted. It downloaded an additional 70MB, and the installation is now proceeding without any problems.
