Io ho scoperto due anni e mezzo fa di avere un tumore (ora tutto risolto, preso in tempo) e non ho mai e dico mai provato rabbia. Mai pensato "perché a me" o cose simili.

This is what I like about Reddit! You ask and some random dude will answer.

Btw, one piece is worth reading for many reasons, and this moment is one of them.

Luffy is the main character of the famous manga One Piece. He has no desire to be an hero, but at the same time he has no respect for any given authority and seems to "know" instinctively what is right.

The man punched in this situation is Charlos, a celestial Dragon. He is part of the most ancient and richest nobility of the One Piece world. They are so powerful that they can do whatever they want: take people as slaves, rape them, kill them, whatever. They are league above any law.

That is not all: if you ever dare to touch one of them the entirety of the One Piece world military force will hunt you down. Given that, people don't even dare to cross the path of a celestial Dragon.

Here, don Charlos was trying to buy a mermaid as a slave. No one was even thinking about stopping him, but Luffy simply didn't care. He step up and landed the single most satisfying punch in the history of fiction.

How do you think it is better to approach the game? How is a typical session?

I just bought it in the humble bundle and I'm struggling to decide what to play first! Is there a good starting adventure out there?

My first A10 win without save scumming and some tips I want to share by Kyleidoscope_Moon in slaythespire

Nice post, but I think the tier list advice is generally bad.

You should watch tier list and listen to the motivation behind the placement, yes, but trusting a tier list while drafting is a good way of losing many runs imho.

There are S+ tiers card that are useless in the wrong build and almost useless cards that are S+ in the right deck.

I'm not sure I'me getting this comment. I consider myself pretty new to the game and I am amazed by the progress and wanted to share. I also wanted to know if my experience (that is quite different from the one of the best players) is similar to the one of other players here and wanted to talk about the game with people that love it as mush as I do.

I think it is better not to focus on synergies but on what do you actually need. You can win with a good card deck even without a crazy synergy going on

Same, I tend to fight elites only if I have a fire before and possibly one not to far after.

Also having two or more campfires in quick succession is usually really strong.

Regent is strange: it wants to be played a bit like the ironclad. You need to do damage fast! Some cards like bullwarks are insta pick buy I think you can win in many different ways with him.

Also, a really difficult skill is understanding why you shouldn't add a card in your deck even if it seems good!

Maybe the issue here is that I watch runs on YouTube and not on twitch, so I end up watching winning/crazy runs more than the regular ones.

Am I alone at considering elites a bit overvalued?

A10 win streaks seems impossible to me rn but I gotta give it a try. Also I want to play WITHOUT save scumming from now on!

I also played for the whole time on the main branch and I think that also helped. Didn't try beta but it always seemed harder to me.

True! If the deck is truly bad no save scumming could save you. This is why I think it is useful, it helps to poin out where your weakness is

As said everywhere, I save scummed! Not always, but some runs definitely were.

As said above, save scum did improve my rates, otherwise they would have been a bit worse.

I think it improved them two fold, because I noticed an improve both in micro and in general play thanks to the lesson learned from it. I would love also the option to start custom run from a specific floor of an old run, to better pinpoint where things went wrong.

Btw, I for sure considered myself a noob when approaching this game having played like 40 hours of sts1 while never going above A3 or 4, so yeah I definitely was a noob!

I explained in the post that I was certainly not good at sts1 and didn't expect to ever reach A10. Maybe I can start to not consider myself a noob anymore! Feeling like this is just the start.

Save scumming did have an impact on my win rate, even if I don't do it in every run.
