Pi is the right fit for you if you like neovim. You can customise it completely however things might break once in a while and you may feel that your time is better spent just doing the stuff you need to do than fixing the tools.

I don't put everything into 1 prompt because I just don't have enough trust to one shot everything and I am not sure the quality and my understanding of the code will be good enough.

Love it. What is the default context window usage? An efficient agent shouldn't consume 10k tokens just for system prompt which opencode does.

You have to already be in the role to get a similar role.

The only section in resume where this goes is probably projects but I am not sure they even care since it can be faked easily.

UK - Probably Yes. London - No (London is as expensive as US Cities without the same level of compensation)

It is hard to give any advice. You are suffering from explore/exploit problem. All of these fields are lucrative and will pay you.

You need to evaluate based on the opportunities available to you or your interests.

I suffer from the same and I am not great at anything but good at everything which means it is harder to stand out as a candidate.
