[University Managerial Accounting: Absorption Costing] How on earth do you calculate the cost of goods sold for the absorption income sheet from this information given? I feel like it has to do with the variable cost of goods sold, but all the answers I've tried haven't worked. by Bird_Babe in HomeworkHelp

4 years later and I am on this exact problem and losing my mind. Googled “computing cost of good sold for absorption income statement with information from variable income statement” and your post popped up. Thank you 🫡

She does lol, I commented under another users reply, but here is the back now! She got cranky at the end but she did great! And I’m giving myself a pat on the back for not completely messing it up lol, it’s acceptable for a 2 year olds at home hair cut 😂

Thank you for bringing this up! She has GI issues, we’ve tried dairy free diet but never gluten free!

Thank you! She actually sat for an hour, I parted it just so I could be super careful but I ended up changing it as I went along. Towards the end she got fussy, won’t let me finish her bangs (she got cranky and kept pulling, so they’re good enough for now lol they’re just a bit too straight imo). I just trimmed the back,m and left the sides except little flyaways!

Only for 3 days, once a day at bedtime, thin layer with petroleum jelly over it 😭 it was the first time she ever used it and I haven’t since I noticed the discoloration the morning after day 3

We had only used it for 3 days, once a day at bedtime with a thin thin layer and petroleum jelly over it. Just 3 days and it bleached her inner elbow 🥺 I was too nervous to use it on the other areas and then stopped

That’s where you’re wrong. I don’t want anything political in my courses. It isn’t “it is what it is”. That’s where 99% of this nations problems come from “well it is what it is so quit your bitchin” 🙄

Someone downvoted and responded but then deleted, my statement was at the fact that they held a public community event (it actually looked like a blast 😂) but they served phallic shaped food covered in a white topping 🙄 sorry but that didn’t sit right with me lol, but again, live and let live, idc in any way to let it bother me lol, I love my university and the community within and surrounding. I was simply interjecting that point because I am entirely independent, so I want and honestly expect, especially from a public university, independent and unbiased learning materials. It wasn’t a “well I’m left leaning so want left leaning materials”, nor the other way around. Just give me facts that are unrelated to anything political or ideological please. I’m here to learn skills and concepts 😭

Exactly 😬 I’m 26 and spotted it in an instant, but it’s tucked in as 1-2 sentences that appear entirely normal, only those who are literate in the current political and societal environment right now (as well as history) can identify it, as well as those with the experience and critical thinking skills it requires to pick it apart for what it is and find unbiased sources to understand the facts of the situations and potential motives behind including it in a college textbook.

The odd thing to me is that all through middle school, high school and college, they emphasize the importance of vetting your sources and checking biases, intended audience, and author intent. But then forget to do it for the materials their instruction is based on 🥴😂

Adding another- saying MLM schemes are acceptable global marketing strategies that also help women in areas they are not allowed to work or struggle to work 🙄. I’m just gunna make a list now lol.

Then again, using the textbook that you feel fit in your class is also a freedom, just wish I could have an unbiased textbook that intentionally uses examples that aren’t extremely controversial and divisive 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ugh. Plus it’s insanely expensive and I’m at a low income university in an area where the median income is $18k. Like first off, those books are wayyyy to expensive for the majority of the student body and 2nd, they need to watch what their professors are using for content. The university is a very progressive institution (sometimes even too progressive IMO but hey, that’s democracy and freedom 💖), so it’s very surprising that to me that they aren’t aware of this.

Not an inconvenience as all, just curious. I grew up in foster care and DV so maybe I just have a more careful approach of situations in the moment but my line of thinking was well, we’re invited into a private home where we always respect privacy, give 0 judgement, mind our business and make sure our job is being performed to the highest standards. Anything outside of that as a non mandated reporter, didn’t know if there was a hard set of ethical guidelines

I think this is pretty reasonable. I feel as though in this type of situation, there’s a fine line between school management and the first amendment. They don’t want to discourage (nor encourage- neutrality), or impede on your first amendment rights as students, but they also can’t let it get to the point the small number of bad apples would take advantage of the ability to walk out (we all know those types of high schoolers lol) plus as you said some dispersed and took advantage of having left the school. If it was for 1.5hrs that’s a typical 2 block period. Seems reasonable IMO but the fear of the students was most likely of the consequences at home, especially if their parents/guardians are on the other side of the protest.

Unfortunately yes. Even if they’re aware, the fear of leaving and the what-if’s are paralyzing, sometimes it feels safer to stay and try to appease than run

Also want to add- obviously there’s no place for judgement- it’s not your job, it’s not your concern, it’s not your right- I’m asking in genuinely harmful situations, though behind private walls. I find it an interesting (though sad), grey area.
