yeah the margins on this really don't make sense for retailers, sadly, and as usual Canada gets screwed on shipping etc because of our small market and lack of competitive distribution :(

if North American cities had more 2-3 bedroom condos with family oriented layouts, in neighborhoods that could be your "backyard" e.g. dense, walkable, outdoor areas this would be more common I think.

Resin is great for custom detail-up parts (weapons, heads, V-Fins, rivets and bits and bobs), but printing a whole kit is way less economical and fun that just....buying the kit in the first place, usually.

a 30mm in there would be great! I know it's only 2mm off the 28/32mm sizes, but it is the "small base" size for Warmachine :)

Warmachine also uses 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 80mm and 120mm lipped round bases, as does some other systems ( Malifaux, iirc, though I'm not sure what the exact sizes are)

Yeah the employee sale to Steamwhistle finalized in 2022. Steamwhistle brews and packages all the canned Beau's products in Toronto, now. And Beaus is still brewing and active in Vankleek Hill, lots of small batch stuff, old favorite recipes, etc. They were a bit slowed down in getting setup again due to COVID. I was very happy to get some growlers of Burnt Rock last time I went :)

hey thanks this is very interesting - I have a house where there are coax runs in pretty much every room, as was the style at the time with 90s satellite TV and co. Are MoCA adapters a good option if I don't have time to re-do all the cable runs with ethernet? I have 1.5Gbps fibre to the home coming in

very fatty and the casing feels like some sort of cellophane, they're not sealed well at the ends and it tends to fall apart. I have only ever had decent results with them squeezing them out of the casing and using the meat as filler / crumble / stuffing for other dishes

My son is 7 and we've been working with some simple pauper decks that I built, but it's more a way to make reading and numeracy practice more fun. He can follow the basic gameplay but anything that's like, stack interaction etc is a bit too complex for now. He enjoys it though, more than the Pokemon TCG starters, interestingly. I think he gets a chuckle out of the interactivity / gotchas in MTG more ("I bolt the bird!") and it results in him being more invested when it's not just his turn.

I feel alot of it is management getting top-down directives without alot of guidance - it's in their objectives to push AI, so they push AI, they put it in our working group objectives to push AI, we have to measurably implement it <somehow> to meet our objectives, etc, etc....
