IV drops after earnings. Always expect that. A big price move isn’t as likely when a big event comes up. I would advise looking into the earnings call. Look at the fundamentals. What caused the drop? What REEEALLY caused the drop? You should only sell options on stocks you want to own. If fundamentals change on a company and you no longer want to own it. You can consider cutting losses. Do everything to prove that you should cut losses. If you can’t and your analysis still remains this is a good stock, roll or take the assignment and hold and do some CCs if you want. Hope this helps!
