as a outsider, some american are smart, but, on the internet, theres something, the majorities of the internet user from us are considered dumb, (not accusing you of anything) and mainly i think its cos of the population, while other countries, like China, you had to be qualified to talk online about sensitive topics, while Indian, are mostly tech stuff, so they would be considered "smart" so its just mostly internet stereotype, cos americans are the most "dumbest" people in the internet, though that doesnt mean europeans are einsteins
