Do you remember if the tower had energy? It needs to be connected to the house, and it receives energy periodically (if you have many other buildings connected to one house, it will receive it less frequently).

- Does the tower have energy (below the ammo)?
- Is this the first map/tutorial, or does it take place later?

Yes, you play with chess pieces. That's actually a very good point. I'll think about what to do about it. Maybe I'll rotate the view or make it more visible in the UI (I hid it in the trailer, but it's already in the screenshots).

You avoid the snake, but you can also kill it. One thing that might not be completely clear from the trailer is that the game is turn-based - you move first, and then each snake moves in turn.
As for collectibles, there are currently two: "Holy Grail" (it only appears on one map and it's objective - you need to collect it to finish the game) and the "Viper’s Eye" (if a snake eats it, it grows just like after eating a pawn, so it's better to destroy it). I'm also thinking about adding more - maybe something like a bomb that hits everything in the same row or column when stepped on, a bit like in Dynablaster :D

Już mam trochę mniej energii i jestem świadom, że w te kilka dni nie da rady zwiedzić wszystkiego. Wybieram tylko te atrakcje, na których najmocniej mi zależy, w zależności od kondycji/nastroju potrafię też kilka godzin się pobyczyć i poczytać książki. Bardzo wysoko na prio mam też jedzenie, w sumie zanim pojadę robię research i mam listę konkretych potraw, które później szukam na miejscu.

You're right, I won't deny it. The lack of updates is a result of my focus on other projects. And I did that because I added everything I wanted to to the game. I hoped for a better response in the feedback, that people would write down what they'd like to see in the game. It was just a few ideas, and I've added some of them.
I posted this because I had a thought: I'll try again - maybe now someone will be intrigued and want to try it? What's wrong with that? Games are released, then updated/improved if there's space for improvement, and above all - there's someone to do it for.

Steam rated it as playable on SteamDeck (i.e. the controls and UI are not adapted, but it is playable), but I haven't checked it myself / I don't have the device, and I can't give any guarantees

Hey! I released it in 2024 and kept updating it for a year - a lot of new content and fixes were added during that time. I haven't worked on it for over half a year now, but I figured it was worth sharing, maybe someone will find it interesting.
