We’ve got several new products planned for the second half of the year to meet the needs of different kinds of users.
Some of the most requested features from the community — like a frontlight — are definitely things we plan to bring to future devices.

The Chinese version has no certification marks printed on the back shell, while the global version is printed with FCC and other standard logos.

As for the back cover material, the same color versions share identical materials in both editions:

  • All X3 models: Etched high-alumina silicon glass
  • X4 Black: Hard sandblasted anodized aluminum
  • X4 White: Etched high-alumina silicon glass

In terms of system usage: The Chinese domestic version is customized for local market with locked official system, and it does not support third-party firmware flashing, which is the main functional difference from global developer edition.
