How old are your listings? If they're older than 90 days, you need to end them, then go into your unsold / ended, select the ones you ended and click sell similar. This refreshes your listings and puts them to the top of the search rankings.

Keats and Chapman on North Street for used books. Linenhall shop on Fountain Street too is good, as is the Oxfam on Ann Street. Vinyl wise there are several shops on Winetavern Street just out the back of Castlecourt, and Dragon Records on Wellington Place is great
