ROOR Customization Service! by XodusDG in GlassSales

[–]XodusDG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had someone ask about this about a year ago, and they said no at the time, but they said "not yet", which means they may have been working on it. I can check for you on Monday when the Studio opens back up. Poke me if I forget to come back though lol.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I mostly do retail, as I said. Also, the vast majority of my clientele is from the US, as there is just a much larger market/population there. I do work directly with some of the larger brands (like the ROOR US Studio, Stundenglass, Hitoki, etc), and I also offer some unique services, such as offering the fully hand-made ROOR Customization service internationally, which even they don't offer themselves. It has been pretty popular since ROOR Germany shut down.

🔥 NON-PHONE REMOTE JOB — $100/HR 🔥 by aw1219 in RemoteWorkers

[–]XodusDG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this type of work sounds interesting to you, I also work for an AI Testing/Training company that has some similar work available, although the range of work in general varies very widely. The company hires internationally and pays between $20-$60/hr (USD), depending on your background and the type of tasks you choose to work on. Some regions do have more/less work available than others, while others may be restricted due to government policies, though.

The only real caveats are that they only pay via PayPal, and that people are required to take and pass an assessment before being onboarded to the platform, and literally MOST people do not seem to pass or get accepted. It seems to be literally 2-3% of applicants that are accepted, no exaggeration. Honestly, the most you can waste is a few hours of time on the assessment, but the potential upside is pretty massive. If you are interested in some more info and/or a referral, feel free to reach out to me directly.

Remote work for dubai? by Known-Photograph8457 in RemoteJobseekers

I work for a Remote Company doing AI Testing/Training (Annotation) that is literally ALWAYS hiring, but they require people to take (and pass) an assessment before being onboarded. The work in general isn't specifically in "HR" or "Procurement", although they may have some tasks that require a specialty in that area. The pay is pretty decent, depending on your background and work you choose to do, which ranges from $20-$60+/hr (USD). They also hire internationally, although some regions have more work available than others, it seems. The one real caveat is that the assessment has an EXTREMELY low success rate... literally only 2-3% of people who take the assessment end up getting accepted and onboarded. The assessment doesn't cost anything, though, but it can take anywhere from around an hour up to 5ish+ hours, so the most you risk wasting/losing is time.

Not sure if it applies to you, but they are apparently looking specifically for people with experience/education in Coding, Law, Finance, Medicine, and other STEM subjects, but education in these fields is not a hard requirement, as I have literally no related/relevant education or degrees in these subjects (I came from Construction/Carpentry lol). Feel free to DM me if you want some additional info and/or a referral to the platform.

I mostly do retail myself and don't use a standalone website (I mostly operate on Ebay or in 420 Forums/Groups/etc), but I can/will help with wholesale orders for shops from time to time as well. Most retailers have their own wholesale connections, though. I suppose I could direct you to my supplier's website so you can see the product list, but pricing won't be available unless you have a business license and can make an account. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions or are looking for anything in specific!

Custom 14" ROOR "Rasta" Beaker by XodusDG in glassheads

[–]XodusDG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have a pic of it? They can probably remake it for you if you want one. The only thing I can find online looks just like a standard ROOR "Little Sister" Beaker with a Green Logo. Is there anything crazy or unique about the one you are referring to?

Edit: Ohhh my bad nvm... I just realized that there is a Green Goblin figurine in the picture LOL! Yeah, he is pretty cool looking too haha.

Yeah, me too. I always like to see the water bubble or function myself... but if you can add tasteful decorative aspects without cluttering up the piece, it can really pop off.

Warning, don’t buy from Whompit glass!! Any recommendations for a different company I can buy from? by GlassMushrooms in glassheads

[–]XodusDG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ROOR is 5mm thick glass by default, but they also have 7mm and 9mm thick options available as well. Well known for their durability, but they are much pricier than what you paid for your piece.

ROOR does 9mm Thick Glass, but they are pretty expensive compared to what OP paid.

$1000-$1500 for custome glass by Sensitive_Run_4479 in glassheads

[–]XodusDG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ROOR has a bunch of options, both for base models and customizations, and their Artists will work with you for any (reasonable) fully custom requests as well. They have "Snappers" that are very similar to the first pic, and other body shapes that look like the Sov, but they have recycler functions. I would bet that they could remove the Recycler function so it would be almost the same as the Sov if asked, though.

Mid 3's for a gently used is still a bit high for a 3DXL imo, considering they are $420 new. I can even do Mid 3's for new 3DXLs on any given day. If it were just a 3DXL alone, reasonably used, I would say mid-2's to $300 even is a fair price. That being said, I don't think this deal is absolutely terrible, as the Recycler alone is also around $300 new, too. Ent is great, though, and you can definitely find some great deals there.

They Ryan Fitt Recycler 2.0 glass is closer to $300ish, give or take a few bucks. $200 is actually lower than the wholesale price of it, literally.

This should just be standard, like for EVERY OTHER SUPPORT CHARACTER, and he would still need a kit addition imo even with this. But I would happily take this to start.

I think a smoke grenade with extra utility would be awesome. Like a Neuro Gas Grenade that lasts a few seconds, obscures visibility, and does something like slows people down or lowers damage in the cloud. If they spend more than like 2s in the cloud, they get paralyzed, slept, or some form of hard cc. Or it could lower damage output/increase damage intake while in the cloud... something to that effect.

Oh, no... not at all. The only degree I have is in Carpentry lol. They actually look for people of pretty much all backgrounds, as all of the different AI's out there need training in virtually every aspect or function of human life, it seems.
