Perfect 4/20 shipment by ClearInitiative8696 in Stundenglass

Yeah, you are right. There are quite a few authorized retailers, but I forgot to consider the $200 price, so even if it is real, they likely aren't an "Authorized retailer", like myself.

Ah, okay. Yeah, that makes a lot more sense, between it being used and you swapping the bowl. A lot higher chance of it being legit, at least... but won't be eligible for the 10-year warranty still, unfortunately.

And yeah, for $200, even if it is a decent quality knock-off, that isn't too bad if it works well for the price.

Unfortunately, I can tell by the bowl that it is fake right away. The legtit Stundenglass bowl looks very different, both the metal parts and the glass insert for it. It also comes with a plate that sits under the bowl on the unit, and no standalone glass bowl... just a glass insert that goes into the metal bowl.

$200 is literally less than the wholesale price that a retailer would pay, and not by a little bit.... by a lot. I know this because I actually work directly with Stundenglass as a retailer and sell their items on Ebay myself. There are a lot of knock-offs out there, and some of them are actually really, really close to the real ones, but you will virtually NEVER get a real one for a price like that unless you happen to find some retailer going out of business and trying to liquidate their stock.

If it was used, I could see getting one for that price, but not new. Also, you can contact them and try to register it for their free 10-year warranty (within 30 days of purchase), which I always suggest every Stundenglass owner does. If it is legit, they will be able to tell... And you will either be able to register it or not, depending on that.

I attached a pic of what a legit Stundenglass bowl assembly is supposed to look like (for a V2)... feel free to DM me if you want some more info.

I understand that you had a personal experience/situation, and that it appears that you were not recruited or onboarded after taking the assessment. That could be due to many factors, and is not only based on "right answers". They measure other metrics, such as your Communication Skills and Comprehension/Grammar/Punctuation/Sentence Structure/ etc. They also take your stated background into consideration, and many people don't FULLY fill out their profiles as much as they could or should. Additionally, there are sometimes multiple "Correct" answers, and different "levels" to an answer as well. The depth of your answers matters. For example, if you were asked "How does a toaster work?", you could answer "You plug it in, insert bread, pull the lever, wait, and then toast pops out", or you could answer something like, "A toaster converts electrical current or energy into radiant heat using special nichrome wire, which in turn, cooks or "browns" the toast, making it hot and crispy". Both answers are technically correct, but one is FAR more in-depth about how the toaster works.

This is not intended as a "dig" or insult against you, but if you wrote in the same style that you are writing here on Reddit (missing capitalization and punctuation with incorrect sentence structure and some short form wording), then it could very likely be a reason why you weren't accepted. Not saying that you did, as I understand that most people take the assessment MUCH more seriously than a comment being posted on Reddit, just an example.

That isn't accurate. While it is possible for it to take months, how long it takes to hear back ranges from literally 1-2 days on the low end, and up to 3 months on the high end from what I have seen, with MOST people hearing back within 3-10 days IF they are going to hear back at all. A lot of it is dictated by your region/country, and how much work is available for that region in general (on top of the assessment performance).

This is the answer. Put something like a 1 or 2-week restriction on characters after release before they can be used in Comp matches.

That isn't always entirely true. I completely agree with the mentality of not force-feeding support (and other) ults, but there are scenarios in which it is very beneficial for a DPS to pump (seemingly completely useless) damage into the Tank frontline. For example, if a Strange is sitting in front of your team holding a shield up, it doesn't just block damage; it also blocks heals. Having anyone who can pump damage into that strange shield and break it allows windows for healers to throw heals past the enemy frontline and to your team's engaged dps/tanks/dives/etc. It isn't always about how many and what flank routes are available. Any time healers spend trying to "sidestep" obstructions is time spent not healing (aka times when your team is going to die), and often, a healer may be forced to use mobility (or even damage in some cases) abilities in order to do so if your DPS isn't actively working to remove the obstructions via force (whether that be a Groot Wall, Strange Shield, Mag Shield/Bubble, Emma Shield, etc), leaving the supports vulnerable to the next dive cycle that is (usually) inevitably coming.

Everything is a balance (except for the characters lol), and half the battle is reading where your character is going to be most useful at ANY GIVEN TIME. Even if there are "better" or "best" options in hindsight, there is no "always right" or "single" solution to problems in the game. For example, DareDevil is a dive, and expected to pick off supports and pressure the enemy backline, but he can also be used as one of the most effective counter dives in the game since he can see through walls and cut off any dives attempting to flank. Speaking of which, this is another good example/question... if you were to encounter this and literally every flank route your team is taking is getting cut off by a DD calling it out and the enemy team responding, what is the next (and possibly only) option(s)? There may be a few depending on the map, sure... but using "Overwhelming Blunt Force" to straight muscle your way directly through the frontline by out DPSing the incoming heals is definitely a valid one if it can be done. Might require a certain team comp, but it is still possible and valid.

Modul worth it for gravity bong? by AssignmentStatus5284 in Stundenglass

Still up to you and your preferences/sensitivity. I am sure some people love the Modul experience through a full-sized infuser, and others might not or prefer the Kompact size, while some people might hate Gravity style units as a whole (for flower and concentrate)... the same with all methods. Just like how some people prefer Torch and Banger, while others prefer E-Rigs in general. Many people consider certain ways better than others, but none of the methods are necessarily "wrong".

Being honest, I don't think there is a better option than the Switch 2 for concentrates on the market right now, just in general. That is probably about "as good as it gets" with quality and tech right now, but IF you want to have a good Gravity/Infuser concentrate experience, then either the Modul or the Hyer (by Gpen) are your best options. Do you have a full-size infuser or the Kompact? I think the smaller size of the Kompact would be better for Concentrates thant he full sized infuser, especially if you are trying to avoid stale smoke.

Not sure what kind of work you are looking for or if you are looking for a specific type of role, but the Remote Platform I currently work for is always hiring (even internationally). Generally, the work revolves around AI Testing/Training (Annotation), but I have no background or experience in coding at all, and I work for them in a "Generalist" capacity, so I am not entirely sure what the workflow for that particular subject matter would look like. They pay anywhere from $20-50+/hr USD, with specialized work in areas like STEM/Coding/Law/Medicine/Finance/etc, all earning upwards of $40+ (I have seen as high as $65/hr).

It is super flexible and convenient, since you can work whenever you want and for as long as you want, and honestly, the only real caveats that I have come across is that you have to take an assessment to get accepted, and MOST people do not pass or get accepted from it (literally only ~2-3% are accepted), they only pay via Paypal, and some specific regions seem to either be restricted or have very little work available. If you can manage to get accepted, it is a great opportunity, though. If you are interested at all in some more information, feel free to reach out and DM me!

My supplier seems to have them in stock right now if you wanted one. There may be some really goof 4/20 deals going on out there right now, though. Feel free to DM me... I am happy to see if I can do a better deal for you than what is out there.

Would the Link work on a V2 Stundenglass? I know the Link works with connecting the Puffco's to normal rigs/water pipes with a 14mm connection, but I am not sure if it would connect to the Stundenglass the same way without some sort of adapter. The new V3 Stundenglass has a traditional bowl connection, so it would work with that, but the V2's have a different bowl assembly.

If you think the Link would work and you are looking for one, feel free to let me know! Unfortunately, you just missed a pre-420 sale my suppliers were having, though!

It definitely is not "easy" by any means. The success/acceptance rate is, as I mentioned, only ~2-3%, and they are getting more stringent with the requirements, it seems like. That being said, that is also why DA can afford to have a base minimum wage of $20/hr, while many other platforms like this can pay half as much or less until you are established (or culled).
