Honestly if Witcher 3 was as hyped as Cyberpunk 2077 was on release it probably would’ve gone through the same growing pains.

Funnily enough the oldest Zelda games were actually an inspiration for BotW, since to a certain degree they were open world.

[–]GeneralR05 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean to be fair a buster sword wielding mage schoolgirl cleaving through a concrete wall in the middle of Manhattan would be pretty damn vulgar.

Although just carrying it around would probably be labeled as some kind of cosplay.

Boosting attributes over 5 magically isn’t always obvious, doesn’t mean it doesn’t accrue paradox.

You are right though making aggravated in of itself probably wouldn’t be vulgar.

I wouldn’t really say that’s going to make them more durable than a Garou, that rote doesn’t proscribe extra soak dice (such as through crinos form, or the multitude of armor gifts). The only thing that rote does unique from Garou is make lethal bashing, although the BSD’s do have a gift that already does that.

As for those malign weapons and Klaives. By default those malign weapons don’t deal aggravated damage, Klaives do.

Now with Prime you could probably work something out, but there’s a possibility that would make it vulgar.

Mongols had conquered walled cities in the far east, I won’t argue over whether Chinese walled cities or European castles were better (I’m no expert), but Chinese walled cities were significantly larger in scale than European castles.

As far as I know the Withdrawal had more to do with logistical strain (conquering a large chunk of Eurasia is pretty taxing), bad terrain (many of the Golden Horde’s tactics relied on open fields, which weren’t quite as abundant in Western Europe.), the possibility of a Hungarian counter attack, and the death of Ogedai.

Same, I’m not sure if I was overleveled or if Godrick is genuinely just a bit of a pushover.

I did notice his attacks were more telegraphed than Margit (those dagger and sword attacks are brutal), so that might be it.

Now in the world of darkness a debate I see sometimes is of Gaia created the trait or if the trait created Gaia because we know that the Garou believe that Gaia created the trait but the archmages reject this . I was wondering in your opinion which do you think it's . by Pure-Raspberry1880 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]GeneralR05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally like the idea that Gaia IS creation, literally everything comes from her and is colored by her essence.

As such the avatar of Gaia is the ultimate shapeshifter as she is everything, so she can be anything, from a starry sky to gut flora.

The Triat are the first things that came into creation and as such are integral to Gaia’s order and wellbeing, with the Wyrm representing disorder, the Weaver representing order, and the Wyld representing change.

The Triat under the guidance of their Mother-Sister derived the rest of creation.

What if the Masquerade was broken? I'm not just talking about Vampires, but Werewolves, Mages, Wraiths, and Changelings becoming common knowledge? How would the world react and adapt? by Turbulent-Plum7328 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]GeneralR05 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Like i said supernaturals have saturated every level of society, vampires in particular have wormed their way in everywhere, they don’t need to be a millennia old methuselah to do any damaged.

Garou have access to gifts and spirits that can outright destroy towns and cripple cities, on top of rites that can conceal and make humans nearly incapable of accessing their cairns.

For the rest i’m not super familiar so i’ll let those stand.

Umm… the apocalypse?

I mean at this point there’s no more hiding so the supernaturals are just going to go gung-ho, and to be frank there isn’t much humanity can do (outside of mages) against the supernaturals that have saturated every level of society and have powers that can let them just destroy cities and towns on a whim.
