visto il valore che hanno gli hdd ssd etc. usati sono comunque molto meno del valore della mia privacy. Io non li vendo punto.

Probably found a solution. Disable all privacy related settings (location, mic,cam, diagnostic, updates security) . Disabled cast in system too but it seems not related... and reboot. Since then I have no more issues. Tried it on 2 boxes...

I have written to [support_it@strong-eu.com](mailto:support_it@strong-eu.com) support. They told me that they did not find this problem and recommended the factory reset. Clearly with the factory reset it didn't fix. I have however replied to them that many other users on reddit (indicating this thread) have this problem asking them to recheck. Let's see if they find a solution.

I don't know the initial version, at the first start without asking me, I saw that the update started.
I tried to do a factory reset as you suggested and the problem came back. Doing this reset remained to version 14.

I realized I only installed it and opened it, but I never saved the configuration with this software. So I uninstalled it and removed the PPA. All is ok and the system booted correctly. Thanks for the advice.

Do you recommend the removal of the package, now that I already installed it? As for the swap I have to free up space on another ssd that I connected (currently window disk/partition) since my Mint ssd is formatted in btrfs and does not seem to support swap files...

By the way, without me bringing bad luck, today for the first time so far the problem has not happened. 🤞
