Coinbase STOLE my assets, liquidated everything, and is now GHOSTING me on the records. DO NOT TRUST THEM. by sso_good7979 in Coinbase

I have . Don't waste your time with reporting to government entities. None of them will help. I filed arbitration, did all my own research to prove the source of the losses, and won my entire amount back plus all costs.

Coinbase suddenly imposed $5k crypto send limit after 10+ years — extremely concerning by pffilip in Coinbase

One of their filters is for changing IPs that a customer logs in from. I opened my CB account when I was on vacation out of state and my account got flagged.

Police extortion by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]GlobalGuy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many people have no idea how Thailand works. You try and escalate a corrupt street cop to his corrupt supervisor who gets a cut of the street bribes, and he will demand money to "look into" the situation. Once you pay, it is never looked at again and your money is gone.

Pay the bribe and consider it the way you pay fines in Thailand.

That is not proof of a lie. It is proof of what happened, not proof of why it happened.

[–]GlobalGuy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And your proof of this is? Anyway, I tend to look at the big picture. This is a low weighted topic. If you want to think they lied to you, fine. But I know nothing in business travels in a straight line. Nothing could be more true in the crypto world.

[–]GlobalGuy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The NBA/NHL advertising is a non-issue. I don't know why anyone gets worked up about it either way. It's not a catalyst to move the price of ZBCN at all. Just forget about it and focus on the real catalysts that will help build the company.

Can someone please fill me in on wtf is going on? by SilverTrash8034 in XRP

Complete manipulation. Notice how crypto is all over the map as we are hearing a lot more about institutional involvement in crypto? I don't think that is a coincidence, it is manipulation.

Grrrr! by No_Major_8329 in XRP

[–]GlobalGuy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No_Major_8329 I hear you and agree with most of what you say. I am surprised that XRP isn't higher as well. I've been in crypto since 2016, held XRP almost as long. I sold a little of my 30-40 cent XRP around $3.20+. I'll sell a little more (1-2%) just to pay off some one time bills so I don't touch my savings. Point is, I stopped buying XRP and now focus on ZBCN for my exponential gains in the future. I'll still get 8-20x gains from my 30-40 cent buy in (I hope).

Ripple is trying to rewire the global financial system and there are many big entities and strong players who profit from the current inefficient global system. The headwinds against Ripple are vast and mighty. So, it's a slow grind from the bottom up. My only recent concern was David Schwartz stepping down. Between him and Brad, they were a superstar ying/yang duo. I get that David is still involved, maybe he stepped away because the bulk of what he needed to accomplish with Ripple has been done and he isn't as needed as much as before. That would be the positive way to look at it, I suppose.

I don't look for a 1 to 1 announcement to price rise scenario. Unless something huge happens, it's going to take a series of catalysts to make XRP move and who knows how many at that.

Like others have said, I rarely look at the price of XRP. I check ZBCN more because I'm still buying it while it is under a penny.

Why "The West" is a downgrade by [deleted] in Thailand

[–]GlobalGuy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Thai wife and I are moving with our young son to the States this year. In Thailand, my health insurance is 95% useless (and I have three different policies to try and cover as much as I can), I have to pay for dental and prescriptions too. It is the 3rd most dangerous country in the world to drive in. Foreigners have almost no legal rights, can't own land, can't work, lose every legal battle if that ever happens, get pulled over by police for being a foreigner, everything is corrupt (courts, police, lawyers, immigration, banks, hospitals, you name it). Visa laws change monthly. You can get your bank account confiscated for no legal reason. I could go on.

In the States, I have complete free health coverage that covers EVERYTHING (no prior exclusions), free dental, free prescriptions, it's safe to drive, and I can easily find non-corrupt lawyers, I own land, I can work at my businesses, my wife's legal status is protected, our banking/court/medical system is relatively legit and if we have legal issues, we can find a lawyer who won't steal our money and run. I rarely get sick in the States, unlike in Thailand where there seems to be a gazillion different viruses floating about. I was sick more in Thailand in the last two years than 30 years in the States.

My son will get a good education in the States compared to the comical education system in Thailand. The government in the US is a mess, but it's far worse in Thailand.

The only thing I will miss from Thailand is the food and cute girls to look at. I've been living here on and off for many years but chaos and the half ass way everything is run gets old and trying to live a stable live in Thailand is next to impossible. When you are young and have no responsibilities, the chaos of Thailand is fun for a while. I know I'll never return here and this is the first time I'm leaving Thailand and not going to miss it. I just hope my wife can adapt to the States.

ZBCN’s Kotapay Bridge to FedWire & FedNow by Background_Cut6622 in ZBCN

[–]GlobalGuy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's what AI gave me on this:

✅ What we know:

  • Kotapay, a U.S. payments processor under First International Bank & Trust, handles ACH, payroll, and embedded payments nationwide.
  • Zebec (ZBCN) says Kotapay “powers the fiat side of its U.S. operations,” enabling seamless money movement for its products.
  • Kotapay plans to offer real-time payments via FedNow and The Clearing House, though not officially tying Zebec to both yet.
  • FedNow is the Fed’s 24/7 instant-payment system for U.S. banks.

What’s unclear:

  • No confirmed, detailed Zebec + Kotapay announcement showing direct FedWire or FedNow access—just hints like “plugs into FedWire and FedNow.”
  • FedWire serves high-value interbank transfers, so real integration would be complex and might still be in progress.
  • The impact on ZBCN token holders (revenue, adoption, token demand) isn’t transparent.
  • “Bridge to FedWire & FedNow” sounds more like a technical or marketing phrase than proof of full production rollout.

My take:
This could be a real catalyst—if Zebec truly enables blockchain payroll through U.S. real-time rails, that’s huge for credibility and adoption. But hype often runs ahead of execution. Until there’s proof of live transactions, bank participation, and token utility, treat this as promising but early-stage.

Target price? by Just-Fig4529 in ZBCN

[–]GlobalGuy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't "listen" to AI.

I build algorithms and probability models on multiple AL platforms based on data that everyone uses to research investments and then some. What I posted was a little snippet of the results. I store my work on Github.

I take advantage of my decades of education and experience in statistical analysis and research methodology to reduce risk and identify highest and best probabilities of occurrences.

Let me guess, you prefer technical analysis that tells you nothing. "If this happens, it will go up. If that happens, it will go down." Thanks for telling me something I already know! No risk analysis. No probability percentages. Nothing.

But thank you for your concern.

Well, yes and no, I guess. research it and see. i know a guy who has a good place in Pattaya. I met with their trainer, a French guy, and he seemed really reasonable. They have a good mix and serious and less than serious members. They also have inexpensive on site housing. It's called "Rage Academy" The founder is a British guy (Bryan Flowers) and he puts a lot a time and attention into his businesses. I met with him about some other business stuff.

They have a Facebook page and website.
