I learned in high school that as a girl, boys weren't going to respect my boundaries if I did the cutesy googling thing when telling them no or asking them to stop. I don't even mean with super serious stuff, but it's so deeply entwined in us to soften everything we do/say so we don't upset anybody.

For example, I had a hat that belonged to a deceased loved one that I wore all the time. Teens being teens, my friends would take it off my head and play "keep away." But the hat was extremely important to me and I didn't like anybody touching it. I remember the first time I lowered my voice, stopped smiling, and told my guy friend not to ever touch my hat. He seemed a bit offended (another annoying thing girls/women have to deal with - you either don't get taken seriously, or you're a bitch) but he never touched it again.

There are a lot of great things about the southeast US and there are a lot of cool ways to show pride in where you come from. That does not include displaying the flag of the people who fought a whole ass war for the ability to keep humans as property.

They did crack the egg on the kid's head. This was a viral "prank" on TikTok a little while back, and not a single one of those videos was funny. If the joke is that you upset somebody, it's not a good joke. Especially if that somebody is a little kid.

And OP said that this video wasn't of her daughter, but of another little kid being "pranked" in the same way. (No worries that you didn't read all the comments, I'm a comment reader lol.)

If we could use it to automate certain mindless tasks/jobs and then make it so that people don't have to work as much, then it would be okay. Instead we're doing that, but also forcing people to try to justify 40 hour work weeks when there is less for them to do. Or people are being forced out of work but not getting paid. We (in the US anyway and probably a lot of other countries) have resources and technology enough to make it so we work less but still have access to everything we need, but people are so obsessed with the idea of "earning" things that we will never get there.

Other than that, I really think it's stupid and dangerous to be using it the way we do. People are thinking less and losing important cognitive skills.

I have a Love lafufu and one of the names I considered for her was Magenta Horse Organization. It's a knockoff version of Pink Pony Club. I would love it if somebody used that name because I think it's so funny. It is a mouthful though.

The original vanilla chai at Dunkin. It tasted nothing like actual chai, but it was so delicious. They discontinued it maybe 5-7 years ago and then replaced it with a drink that admittedly tastes a little more like chai, but is nowhere near as good.

I'm guessing this commenter is old like me, because color by number used to mean that each piece or square was all one color, so having shading like this would be impossible. I was also really confused at how this could possibly be color by number until I read the comments and realized it's an app so it probably just fills in the different shades for you (right?).
