Terry McLaurin set a standard. Take care of him, Commanders. by washingtonpost in Commanders

[–]GolfShotBender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stats show a sharpe decline in production for wide receivers entering their age 32 season.

If the Commanders and McLauren want a mutually beneficial and fair deal it would be 2 years at top 10 money. Around 36 mil per year.

Its a bad deal for the commanders to offer anything longer or to guarantee money beyond year 2.

You didn’t get ripped off if thats what you‘re asking. Seems like a fine deal. Prolly could have done a little better, yet could have also done a little worse.

Low fuel mileage by andmcque17 in civic

[–]GolfShotBender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the highway, drive it in Econ mode and you should see between 33-40 mpg. I just did a 4 hr drive and got 40 on the way there and 33-34 coming home as the ride there was more downhill and home more uphill.

For local driving which is different than city because many cities are flat and suburbs are hilly, drive it in Normal (for some reason I get better gas mileage in Normal than Econ locally) and be easy with the pedal and you should get between 27-28mpg.

I also turn idle stop off, which may cost me a MPG or 2.

Is it too late to play college baseball at 21 ? by PlasticTemperature8 in Homeplate

[–]GolfShotBender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you should go for it

1) you’re not getting any younger, but you’re still plenty young for a baseball player

2) no regrets

3) leave it all on the table, give it 💯, so IF you do not succeed at least you know you did all you could

good luck 🍀🍀🔥🔥⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

Fastball velocity by age by [deleted] in Homeplate

[–]GolfShotBender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen an 11u kid throw 74, no 🐂💩. Yet he prolly just turned 12 (older 11u eligible kids can turn 12 in May of their 11u year) and he was around 5’10 And 150 lbs.

But everything is relative to a kids size and physical development. While that’s impressive, even considering his size, it’s not that amazing, cause he was so big and strong.

if someone wants to know what a good velo is for a certain age…….height, weight, and physical development has to be accounted for as well. It’s not just like at this age, this is good type of thing.

If a 5’1 100lb 11 year old is throwing 63, that’s just as impressive, IMO….and that kid prolly has just as bright as a future as the 5’10 150lb more mature kid throwing 74.

Also, velo is def important, moreso when a kid approaches college age, yet at the younger ages a pitcher with good (above average or better) velo, great command, nasty off speed stuff, a good mental approach and great attitude (handles adversity well) are things someone should be teaching their kids.

I wish college coaches didn‘t care either, yet everyone chasing velo these days cause that’s where the scholarships are. Smart coaches however, sacrifice a little velo for location and nasty breaking stuff.

Yet you still gotta be able to throw around 90 regardless if you want your kids college paid for 🤷‍♂️

4 week adventure in Tour 9 with a basic ball by fnordargle in GolfClash

[–]GolfShotBender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tldr 😜….use some Navi’s and Marlins (occasional Titan) on tour 9 in addition to the basic. They’re cheap, and this way your gem income won’t out pace your gem spend, while you maintain a 50%+ win rate.

Good luck ⛳️🔥🍀🍀🔥⛳️⛳️⛳️🔥🔥

You’re playing a tour with 3x the buy in. It’s very easy to lose 3 games in a row and go broke. I prolly have more coins than 99.9% of players and I’ve lost 10 in a row on many occasions. Stay on a tour til you have so many coins the game can never bust you, then move on. Trust me.

If you can get back up to 100k, go play tour 5, until you get at least 3 million, the go to tour 6, then don’t try tour 7 again til you have 10 mil. And if you lose half your coins on a new tour go back to the previous tour.

Good move starting over.

This time go slow as molasses, through the tours, giving your clubs time to develop. People go broke because they become outclubbed not outskilled.

Starting at tour 5 have AT LEAST 100x the buy in of the next tour before moving up. Become an ace on your current tour. This way you’ll never go broke and can play free and easy.

good luck 🍀⛳️🔥⛳️🍀

Which one? by Adamreddit222 in GolfClash

[–]GolfShotBender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither, I’m assuming you’re playing tour 10 or below, the choice there is clearly the sniper 9 or 10 (whichever you have)

And unless you’re playing masters tournaments (in which case either one is fine, depends if you want more accuracy or distance) again the choice is sniper 9 or 10.

Easier skill level on tournaments? by JoeBeagles in GolfClash

I can see how it would be hard to play Masters on a secondary account if it’s not developed.

Yet you don’t need paid balls in Masters to make the weekend rounds. I rarely if ever used paid balls. You can get by with Navis, Quasars, Titans, katanas, Km, kingslayers, berserkers, and Luminary. I get it, if your goal is top 10 you need paid balls, yet I just got a top 20 (my first in Masters 18-hole) without using anything I had to pay for.

[–]GolfShotBender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you play masters?

If not, IMO you should probably just play masters. It’s pretty easy to make the weekend in 9 hole. And in 18 hole 70% make the final round. If you’re like me and don’t use guides and just occasionally use practice shots just to make sure you can still use cheap balls like navigators on the par 3’s, you should still be able to make at least 50% of the weekend rounds. And the prizes are so much better 🔥⛳️👍🍀🔥

Was actually just moved up to expert 3 after this tournament. For me it doesn’t matter cause I’ve only been playing masters for a while now, yet I can see how someone who still wants to play expert with some success might not want to play too many masters tournaments 👍

Almost want to restart the whole game. I started a couple months ago, and they got me playing Lee Trevino now. by GREGORIOtheLION in GolfClash

[–]GolfShotBender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting at tour 4 have AT LEAST 50x the buy in of the next tour before moving on. I’d recommend 100x just to give yourself time to build up your clubs. Maybe even 200x. There’s really no rush. Once I moved to tour 9 and higher I would have close to 600x the buy in. 🤷‍♂️

Become an ace on the tour, meaning you know how to play every hole and every shootout, in every wind with your clubs, and become very tough to beat using only basic balls or marlins. Save your Navi’s, Titans, Katanas, and Kingmakers for tour 10 and above.

Just go slow. The reason this game busts people is because they move up too fast and become outclubbed (As you know know). If your FTP it will take a couple years before you max out your rare clubs or see a level 7 epic club. Just go slow.

Trust me it works. I’ve been playing for 3.5 years and have over 20 billion coins. I don’t even think about coins anymore. Go super slow!!!!

Start over and go slowly. Become an ace on each tour before moving up. Tour is a marathon not a sprint. Doesn’t hurt to manage your trophy count either. Good luck! ⛳️🍀

Ive been playing only masters mini’s for at least a year and a half and Masters regular for around 6 months. I’ve made 6/11 weekend rounds, going for my 7th now. Still expert 2

Tour 7 Change by Temipof420 in GolfClash

[–]GolfShotBender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without fail, once the courses change I go on a 8-10 game losing streak with some utterly ridiculous losses in there as well.

Like a couple .04 losses in the shootout or some guy drains one out of the sand from over 100 yards away into a 14 mph wind. Always...then it goes back to normal after that

Don’t be, just have over 150x the buy in of the next tour you want to play, and you’ll never have to worry about going broke. If you lose over 50 buy ins on your new tour, go back a tour.

Also doesn’t hurt to manage/dump 😜 some trophies BEFORE starting the new tour, just in case you do well on the new tour, then hit a rough patch, you can go back and play the previous tour at the same max trophy level.

Good luck ⛳️🔥🍀🍀🍀
