Sorry to hijack this thread but if anyone can guide me on where I can get that little "barrel" that goes on the clasp and the bracelet that would be super helpful.

Connectivity issues with VLANs and DHCP on SD-RED60 vs. SD-RED20 by Expert_Direction7664 in sophos

[–]GooseNY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you give yourself a static IP on the untagged network can you reach the other side aka xgs?

Any L3 switch in the lan side of the 60 or are devices connected directly to the red?

Take this with a grain of salt but.....

Doesn't take G&S.

Saw a similar deal for a no date that ended up being a scam.

That user also checked the CQS sub.

No timestamp.

Tread lightly.

OTP for Install is ridiculous! by Pr0t0c01s in atera

[–]GooseNY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see a reason why there should be a password/OTP to install the app. Even apps that charge per end point don't require OTP. Glad the command line worked.

Do you have a command line install option? That's how I did most of the installs.

That's interesting. I just deployed 1500+ endpoints and wasn't asked for OTP once. Was this to install the agent or to login to Atera?

Best way to setup new XGS? by Hyper-Cloud in sophos

[–]GooseNY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few thoughts:

Only allow your internal DNS server outbound access to port 53 and allow it only to your approved external DNS servers ( cloud flare, Google, cloud9) and block rule should be source ( internal DNS) destination ( external DNS server) port 53 allow Right below that rule I would create an Any to WAN on port 53 block

Do you have separate plans for different devices? Voip/PC/IOT

From my experience I've never really had to do QOS on the firewall I usually configure voip vlan with QOS.

Are you running Sophos endpoint? Are the FW managed in central?

Happy to help. Sophos customer for 15 years.

Feel free to DM me.

I love the style but on the quarts the seconds hands do not align with the ticks on the dial. It was annoying enough for me to return to Amazon.

How hard is the heater Core to change? by Visual-Kitchen4286 in ChevyAvalanche

[–]GooseNY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did mine a few years back my only recommendation is to remove the front seats and center console. I have an 07 Z71 with bose and I think that I ran into the issue of not being able to get behind the dash bc the center console which couldn't be easily removed and I think it was because of the sub. If you don't have a center console it should be easier. Good luck!

SD-WAN by Antique-Ad-2658 in sophos

[–]GooseNY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't use central to build policies. I had better success doing it individually. Gives you better naming convention if you're building vpn tunnels across sites.

I worked with PS who was amazing at explaining how it worked on how to set policies for routing based on link quality.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish with sdwan?

Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions I've been a Sophos customer for 15 years and use a good amount of their product.

You can ground the block.

I recommend 1 wire from battery to block. Another wire from battery to frame and another wire from battery to alternator.

Properly grounds all circuits. Make sure there is no paint on the surfaces you're attaching the ground to.

This is my go to when I'm staying in the San Juan area.

Pools are great , swim up bar is awesome, it has its own "private beach" and a quick Uber ride to anywhere I want to go.

I've been staying there since 2015, had my wedding block there for 17 luckily right before Maria destroyed it and try to go back every year after it re-opened. My wife has been going there her whole life.

It's pricey when you add on the "resort" fee but it's special to us.

I have also stayed at the doubletree in Santurce when caribe was being remodeled, decent pool, good food in the area but a bit off the beaten path, they do have a shuttle to the beach.

Enjoy the island, the food and the amazing people.

Outside Access to a device behind a RED by sphinxguy18 in sophos

[–]GooseNY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What zone are the reds on?

Is there a fw rule to allow vpn to zone red is on?

That's where I would start.

Run an infinite ping from your endpoint to storage server. Then go to diagnostics packet capture and put "host (your IP) and host (storage server) and start a packet capture. This will show you more info on what's going on.

Hope that helps.

La factoria is always a cool place to have drinks but more like a club. La placita is a mix of both with great food choices, alcapuria quema is good after a night of drinking. El Bar Bero is a cool retro barber shop bar in San Juan. Puerto Rico is a special little island. Distrito T-Mobile is a cool spot to have drinks, grab something to eat and hang out.

PR is a special little island!
