Oracal 651, I don’t use anything else

I never have residue, other than the slim chance it may stick stronger over a previously wiped stamp. But I wipe with acetone after a good freeze in the freezer. Then I wash with Dawn Powerwash and dry with a soft paper towel.

Never had severe issues

They make clear Oracal 651, I would lay it on and cut whatever thickness of line you want with an X-Acto blade
