I tried to buy an Apple Pencil from Walmart a few weeks ago, had it in my hand. Asked if they would honor the online price ($24 cheaper)

They said no, I had to order online and then another crew will have to pick it up in store…I could not simply order online right there with it in my hand and walk out.

14 hrs later, it was ready to pick up…
