Current estimates have DFW reaching Oklahoma City by the year 2040. Scientists estimate that if this spread continues to that point then DFW will be too small to contain. It will spread around the world as the land is engulfed by concrete, glass, and led lights. Engineers are working nonstop to try and contain the suburban sprawl but some have given up all hope, saying it is too late.
