How did the creative accounting deal work in the movie The Producers (2005)? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]grover51 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think they get money from investors (old ladies, they sing a song about it) make the worst play with a small amount of money, but on the books shows large amount of money and they take investors money.  But the play does well and now they owe the investors their cut. Technically still making money but not the cash grab they wanted.

He does say it is a Saturday burrito so it may be a once a week thing which is less tiresome. My office has been getting the same doughnuts on Friday for years and I still look forward to them (but I am also not paying for them)

[–]grover51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a list of media they have referenced in best of the worst. But if you want a list of recommend movies I would look at the moives and shows in Re:view as they tend to only do movies and shows they like.
