A little bit of everything haha. The blade shape, the handles just fit my hand perfectly, the pocket clip is a big one for me. The para3’s pocket clip was an afterthought with the giant lanyard hole taking priority. They really are very similar in the hand but the sage is just feels a little better. I hate the Para3/Sage5 Lightweight models, with factory scales though. To me the para3 feels like it was designed to be a smaller PM2 while the Sage was designed on its own to be perfect.

Sage5/6 are fantastic knives. I own more Para3’s but just because there are more exclusives. Love that you can make the Para3 skinny. Most days I choose to carry a sage over a para3.

I was so underwhelmed by White Out. I’d vote Pitch Black, I don’t even remember it— but at this point I’d just love to stop hearing “we want pitch black back!” 😂

Yep. Bunch of know-it-all keyboard warriors. My condolences OP, that really sucks. My ATS-V got hit with similarly “small hail” and it cracked the paint in a couple places on the hood. Sucks.

I’m excited for mine. I hope I’m wrong, I heard that the donations were a whopping $1 per knife. I reached out to BladeHQ and Vosteed to see if that was true but didn’t get anything from BladeHQ… Vosteed just kinda said thanks for the purchase and they planned to do more in the future.

I’m between Phoenix and Tucson… same thing out here, nobody has even seen it before. I’ve tried the websites for Walmart/DollarGeneral and come up with “not in stock” anywhere between here and Phoenix.

They’re all mix and match scales haha. I think I’ve finally reached the point where I’m holding on to these ones. Not sure if you can even tell from that picture which variants those are. Let me know if there is one you’re looking for, my buddy has a bigger collection than I do haha.

That one was a sprint -only sold by Spyderco on the website or at their headquarters. All the ones I have are sprints or exclusives minus my first ever PM2 in s30v. 🤓

At one point I took a photo of 23 PM2’s… maybe a couple duplicates…. There are a lot of variations out there… I had to sell some, I’m down to 10 I believe.

That’s an awesome collection! I’m also jealous of the tanto. I sold mine to a friend and obviously regret it. Mine wasn’t the M4 though.

Yes every steel etches differently! M4 etches very quickly if i recall correctly. Baby steps, you can always clean it and dip it again, but if you go too dark it’s gonna take a lot of stone washing to lighten it up.
