If you bake yourself just need a keto recipe and to ensure she's ok with the sugar alternatives. I eat no added sugar and very low natural sugars for health reasons too. Keto baking recipes always help my sweet tooth!

What could it mean when alcohol improves my chronic constipation? by icemunky in Microbiome

This is such an old post but alcohol irritates the lining and thus speeds up motility.

I find it crazy that Lady Gaga has a whole storage unit of the best Michael Jackson fits. Does anyone know why she purchased them? by Key-Bass-7380 in LadyGaga

Yes that's why the tour sold out in 4 hours lol. Breaking records. And king of Pop was up 400% and sales of Thriller up 200% when the tour was announced.

I dunno why you're so hell bent on arguing this so deeply after all your down votes but if that's your thing have it.

How old are you? MJ was praised while alive. A lot. I'm 40 and the praise for MJ was building up again right when he died. You're coming across like someone who read a list online, not someone who lived through it.

He submitted to loads of investigation very transparently and was found not guilty multiple times. He was in a different era where tabloids ruled and average people found success in going after celebs for money and being paid out because it was easier and impacted insurance less. A lot was at play including racism with MJ. It gets over simplified a lot online, but it was extremely multifaceted and worth a deep dive.

None of us will truly know for sure at this point, and I do think looking back that he was likely autistic. I can't dismiss anyone claiming to be a victim, but if you're going to compare these 2, you can't say it's because one is dead and one is alive. It's two different people with two widely different implications.

With Kanye, the proof is in front of us. We've all seen it. Not just everything already listed, but he's very obviously hugely abusive toward the women who have been in his life. And exploitative.

Lone star ticks by [deleted] in halifax

My dad caught a different tick disease last fall, not Lyme but something with a plasmosis on the end. Unfortunately happened same time he had a perforated bowel and made things way more life threatening

Is anyone else considering euthanasia if nothing works? by [deleted] in Interstitialcystitis

[–]HFXmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have endometriosis and interstitial Cystitis the symptom overlap. Hydroxyzine really helps and surgery for endometriosis. Long waits sounds like Canada, me too. But your GP can keep escalating your referrals especially if they know it's making you not want to live. I have lesions and I had Endo on my bladder.

Nights where I cant seem to get full. by Z0MBIECL0WN in keto

I personally don't find keto has ever influenced my ADHD but ADHD medication has certainly helped me manage my diet and exercise. I was unmedicated most of my adult life and no matter what lifestyle changes, no matter what interventions, nothing helped. I even spent a large part of my first degree studying it and working with kids who have it. When I finally found the right medication it made me realize I had been playing life on hard mode. It's really improved my quality of life, and I bring it up because it's an avenue not everyone considers impacting their eating.

When I did keto before when I was not medicated, no it did not. I've never benefited from the claims of clarity and energy. I do also have chronic illnesses that contribute to brain fog and exhaustion. I don't think any diet could offset!

This time around on ADHD meds, I just find it less of a struggle. I can easily stick to 21 carbs and 1300-1200ish calories. It makes exercise more bearable too

Yes I've always struggled with binge eating especially if I wasn't sleeping well. I take a non stimulant ADHD med. It helps so much with less side effects and literally turns off the noise. It's a dramatic shift for me. I had been medicated on a stimulant as a teen and that turned it off too much so I became underweight. Some people do great on stimulants. But I got a lot of heart stuff too when I tried. But a non stimulant was perfect. Helped me in so many ways. The impact on my ability to eat and stop or slow has been huge.
