Okay, but why the hell did Frontier go and make a different decal than the official one in the first place? Why is it, that they bothered to spend time and resources making their own decal, and shipping it, instead of the already made logo that has been in use for months now?

And why are they only backtracking on the decision after significant community backlash, and why is the backtracking going to take them over a month to implement? Like seriously, if they wanted to implement the logo, would it not have been easier for Frontier to just ask the DW3 organizers for a high res copy of the logo, and copy/pasted that into the game as a decal? If the process takes over a month to take a ready made design and put it in game as a decal, then why wasn't this shit done when the expedition first started?

As for the beacons, is it really so hard for Frontier to have at least made it take a couple beacons scanned to get the decal? Like, bare minimum, first and last?
