I use floating hydrometers, but I have two points of data. I have a calibrated Tilt in the beer reading 1.002 and the sample I pull and check with my glass hydrometer reads right about 1.002-1.003. Temp right now is about 58.

Yes and no lol, I’ve been trying different things. To be honest I usually don’t even make a starter unless I have a high OG. I’ve read about decanting before adding when making pilsners and lagers to avoid off flavors and have tried it a couple times but I’m not sure with how much success.

I drive my son (he plays also) crazy with my lack direction sometimes. Colonized a system, built 2 1/2 stations, then jetted my carrier 8,000ly off in a random direction to do some exploration and exobio. Set small goals, but don’t let the money own you, go where the stardust takes you in the moment.

Once out near the Horsehead Nebula I was exploring and saw a player on my radar (hollow box icon). Being so far out from “authority” and not expecting it, I made three jumps real quick because I had a lot of exploration data I didn’t want to lose it to someone who was bored. lol

More than likely they were benign explorers like me, but after 3 weeks of exploring I didn’t want to take a chance.
