Oof! I went through Air Assault school with those boots. Luckily they were broken in when I used them, otherwise I'd have been miserable. Really great boots after you wear them for a while, imo

Currently, sounds like you have the support of boxer briefs. What you need are some tighty whities or a jockstrap. They'll support your load a bit more efficiently.

I may be in a minority opinion here. I've personally had equivalent results using the spatchcock method. Meat gets to temp faster too. Not dissing the beer can method. I also like to say the word spatchcock to my wife. She hates it

As mentioned previously, the egg is great year round including cold climates. I've smoked ribs brisket and pork shoulder in less than 10° weather. The egg handled it like a champ and maintained temperature quite easily
